Bought tamales here(chicken, pork, and beef). I was excited at first because they were pretty good size compared to other places. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. They tasted very old and dry. I really wanted to like this place because I like to support small businesses. But unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

AHHHMAAYYZINNNNGG!. Feel like grilling up the best carne asada in town? How about ordering in and letting them do all the cooking? Want great tortilla chips and a huge selection of salsas? They have it ALL! Carne, Pollo, Al Pastor. it is all SUPER fresh and to die for. This market is extremely clean and everyone that works here is super friendly. They have daily specials and you can call ahead for food to go. Tip– there is no place to actually eat. I have been here numerous times and have been happy every time. I am a taco freak and these are the best tacos(taste, quality and price) in town. Support local business!

Love the convenience of ordering through Unilocal and picking up. On another note, this restaurant is amazing and very helpful. They’re quick and efficient. I come in asking for an order and they have it ready in no time at all. Imagine if you give them time? The possibilities are endless. It’s about time we have a place that’s so versatile as Larios Market. The prepared cactus is the. Best in the area and perfect for vegans. I am not vegan which brings me to the meat. I love the prepared meat ready to grill. They’re marinade is superior. It also helps that this place is around the corner from my place. Usually before larios, I would have to head out of Chino Hills to find a place of this caliber. Keep up the great work Larios!

As someone who isn’t quick to judge a place after reading reviews I gave this place a try. I went two days in a row. I got tacos the first day and they were so good! I had a veggie burrito because I thought it was a safe bet and I was right! Good stuff. Not long after that I had a stomach ache though. Fast forward to the next day and I get a chicken burrito. I took one bite and saw red meat and was like ohhhh heck no. So I opened my burrito and… yeah. I posted pictures of it.

This is a small little Mexican market with a restaurant portion for Mexican food. The staff is very polite and friendly. There is a nice selection of different meats, salsas and produce Shrimp cocktail $ 4.99. From the restaurant side we ordered the tamale, tacos and All meat burrito(about $ 6). The food is very good and the prices pretty cheap. A+++

I used to visit this spot frequently, but I won’t be going again. I recently bought some orange marinated chicken and carne asada for the Super Bowl, and everyone at my BBQ got extremely sick off the chicken. Every single individual suffered from diarrhea, vomitting, chills, and body aches. The meat looked abnormally red when I purchased it at the store, but I didn’t think anything of it. Now, I assume they were trying to get rid of old product, and as a result I suffered the consequences.

I ordered my holiday tamales here this year. My family enjoyed them. I’ve been disappointed from other places that I’ve ordered in the past — small tamales, very little meat, and no flavor. These were all delicious and were priced very reasonably. I plan to go back and try something different next time and also try out the produce, which looked fresh and well stocked. Thank you for making my holiday dinner delicious!

Awesome nachos, tacos, burritos… Good marinated meat selection! And they do put special effort in creating each meal, not all super rushed like the fast food places. Will definitely be coming back for more;)

Good stuff. A reviewer suggested the carnitas burrito over carne asada. Excellent call on that. I don’t like the way they chop up the asada so fine that it has the texture of shredded beef. The carnitas OTOH are really good, and the chicken taco was the best. The chicken was so tender I didn’t want any toppings on the taco– just chicken and tortilla. I like that the shrimp on the tacos are fried and butterflied but the sauce could have used a little more kick. Overall good food and the prices are right.

This place always smells so good. Fairly priced. Very excellent and attentive staff, but not the cleanest. Sometimes there are flies mixed in the ice the have meat sitting on or the meat is already a brownish-grey color. Thats my only issue here. Lmao wrong larios sorry guys

Just had the asada fries and tacos de papa today. By far the most satisfying and delicious food in the area. Definitely my new favorite spot

I came here to order some menudo and I asked the cashier if they can hold the meat. He told me it wasn’t a problem and that they can hold the meat. While I was waiting for my order I overheard him tell the cook to hold the meat and she started yelling at him in Spanish I couldn’t understand what was said but that made it super awkward. Once I got to my job and opened up my soup I saw it was filled with meat half the soup was all meat. That was very upsetting 3 stars for customer service. The soup was good

Great local market close to my home. They make the best carne asada tacos and all-meat carne asada burritos. Students get discounts on Mondays, 5 for $ 2.50. The also make their horchata in-house(my favorite beverage), so I always make sure to get a large cup of horchata with my tacos. The salsa selection is also fantastic here. They have several preparations of pico de gallo, guacamole, and ceviche, all sold in containers for you to take home.

Our first time here. The meat looks very fresh, store is small, very clean, and friendly customer service. Our first impression was good! We picked up some orange juice marinated carne asada and marinated chicken breasts to grill. Will be back soon.

The king of carne asada definitely lives up to his name! Oh how I love this place. Used to come here all the time for their orange marinated carne asada(when I was too lazy to make my own) and it is very very good. Also recommend their al pastor, salsas and marinated chicken too. Tried the burritos that they make for you and for some reason it was just all bad. This place is wonderful tho! Great little meat market.

I like this place. I’ve only gotten the raw carne asada here that I can take home and cook on the grill. Several choices, I usually get the orange marinade. Very easy to cook after it’s been seasoned perfectly by Larios’. It’s made me a hit at the backyard BBQ. I will be back.

I was really excited to try this place based on the positive reviews and because my family always drives by it but our first experience was kind of a let down. The cashier was friendly and greeted us after he was done helping a customer. My sister and I ordered the fish taco, carne asada taco, pork tamale, and al pastor burrito. The price was reasonable, totaling under $ 10. The fish taco and al pastor burrito were super salty, almost to the point I didn’t want to eat them. The carne asada taco was sour. The meat was tough and dry. The tacos were super small, like the size of dumplings. I probably wouldn’t get them again. The pork tamale was good but a little on the bland side. I can’t tell if it’s because I ate this after the super salty fish taco and sour carne asada. They have a small salsa bar and you can help yourself to 4 super small containers with a purchase. They also sell produce, salsa, guacamole, and other Mexican grocery items. I hope it was just an off day and that the food is actually better. I will probably try it again to see. They also sell horchata, which I hope to try next time.

This was my first visit to Lario’s Market in Chino Hills. The market is located in a convenient strip mall. The market is small and a little ambiguous looking from the outside. Upon entering the market, I noticed it was small, but all of the staple Mexican food items to go with my Coronas were present. Each section was compact, and they included produce, meat, canned goods, and a made to order section. A couple of staff members were anxious to help us make selections at the meat counter. The meat looked fresh, and there were some pretty good deals on guacamole and salsa. The carne asada, however, was expensive at $ 6.99 a pound. In regards to the check out process, it was laborious. We stood in line for several minutes, and moved no more than a few inches. It was taking so long, we decided to go elsewhere.
