I went with some coworkers to catch a Warriors game. The place was packed and there was about an hour wait but once seated service and food were great. We sat outside where there is a HUGE screen where they were showing the game in addition to a few smaller tvs in the bar area. Our table ordered garlic fries and mini ahi poke mini toatadas to start and both were pretty good. I had fish and chips for my main and it wasn’t bad either. My coworker seemed to enjoy their food(steaks for all of them). We finished with a chocolate mousse dessert and a chocolate lava cake with ice cream. Both were just okay but not bad in any way. Our server was awesome. She was really friendly and personable. She wasn’t overbearing at all but was perfect with timing, refilling drinks and suggesting menu items. She knew we were staying for the entire game and was cool about letting us stagger our orders. Overall a laid back, really chill environment with decent food and great service.

I won’t ever come back. I dined here on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30 pm and the place was pretty empty. Service was okay, our waitress was friendly, but the food was another issue. It took forever to get our food and when it did arrive it was cold. Cold garlic French fries, yuck. The drunken chicken sandwich was tasty though. But definitely not worth the price, wait time, and cold food.

My glass was never left less than half way full. Our waitress was very attentive. Only critiques would be that I ordered a sprite and drank half before our waitress came by and re-filled my cup with water, THREE times. I thought it was funny because we sat inside where it was less busy, but she seemed to have forgotten my order. We showed up for happy hour, after 9, and had to request the happy hour menu because it was not out. You can’t go wrong with the deep fried green beans!

My coworkers were in Chico this week, and we needed a place to watch the warriors game. Lo and behold a coworker recommended checking this place out. The place was packed, and it took almost an hour to get an outside table for four. They had the game on several tvs including a GIGANTIC projector showing the game. You could see this thing from the street; it was enormous. I was, to say the least, excited. The waitress was super friendly and the timing was impeccable. We started off with a few appetizers: garlic fries, ahi nacho thingy, etc. and a couple drinks. We let her know we were staying for the whole game, and she let us know we could order whenever. She gave some great recommendations, and the timing was perfect. Our meals came out right at halftime. She came right when we needed drinks or anything and was definitely not pushy or in the way at all! Great service was her, but I didn’t catch her name. The garlic fries were okay, and the steak wasn’t bad either. It was some great food, but none of the menu items were unique, just something to note. Portions were perfect for me, no leftovers and not too much left on my plate. Our table also went with some dessert items, but I was pretty satisfied, and just nibbled on some ice cream. Overall, good food with excellent service and all at a reasonable price! Oh yeah, and don’t forget about the outside patio, what a great place to catch the game or really any good TV!

Went on Thursday night to watch the Sharks game. It took quite a while to get seated even though there was some open tables outside available. If you plan on eating inside be aware that it will be LOUD. But outside is much quieter. The server was very nice and attentive and she made sure that our drinks never got empty.(Very good margaritas!) It took a while to get our food to our table. It was over 30 mins, but since I was there to watch the hockey game I wasn’t bothered by it. Had I not been there to watch the game I would have been more upset about it. Which is why I’m giving 4 stars. The outside patio is very nice and the tv screen is clear and very large. Can’t wait to go back again. The burger was perfectly cooked and the fries were hot and crispy. FALLOWUPREVIEW Went back again tonight to watch the hockey game, sat at the bar outside. The atmosphere was nice, it was not busy at all. The inside was a lot less loud compared to my last visit. The bartenders outside were very nice and attentive to us, making sure that everything was perfect. The food was cooked perfect as it was last time and the margaritas were very good. I’m going to give them a 5 star review(previous experience was a 4 star) thank you to the friendly staff outside at the bar!

Pour House seems to be going through a transition. The new patio is wonderful for outside, summer dining, but the service needs help. The wait staff seemed very confused and flustered. We were told that they were sorry and very busy, but there were empty tables all around. They were flustered by simple changes to menu items, and the food came out at three different times. Their bathrooms were disgusting and needed attention. Pour House is usually a great option, but this time it was not. Hopefully they’ll bring it together for next time.

We went at 7:45 on a Friday. It was pretty full, but we were seated after only a couple of minutes. The waitress got our two year old daughter’s order started while we looked at the menu, then came back to take our order. It took about an hour for our food to come out due to a couple large parties ahead of us and a small kitchen. While I understand that food won’t come out instantly, they should have known not to seat more people if the kitchen couldn’t handle it. On top of that, we were provided little to no information and not given any update on when our food would come out. To their credit, they did get our daughter’s macaroni and cheese out in a timely manner. That also meant she was done and asking to leave long before our meals were served. When the food finally came, we had to inhale it before our daughter got any more impatient. When the check arrived, they didn’t offer any concessions until I pressed. In summary: Ridiculous wait time for food. Fairly attentive but not terribly apologetic or proactive staff. The food was pretty good, eventually. We won’t be back.

I like this place but it has some issues that make me apprehensive to go there. One, they definitely upcharge a lot. During any holiday or local event they get rid of happy hour and sometimes bust out a special menu that adds an extra 10 – 15 bucks to any item you would normally get and that just seems so crummy. If you ever have a party larger than 14 theyll break you up into multiple tables, which is fine because i enjoy fire safety as much as the next guy, but when you reserve 2 days in advance it would have been nice to know that we’d all be split up before we got there. Drinks are tasty and I’d recommend their cocktails but they are not cheap. However, if you have the cash then this place is good and I’d recommend it.

Went to meet friends for dinner. We were just getting drinks, while the other 4 at our table all got beers/dinner. Took far too long for our drink to come back. Ingredients were missing and it tasted awful. It was super noisy and our friends food took a long time to come.

Very slow service but the wait staff is friendly(under staffed)? They ran out of ingredients for 2 of the main 4 entrees. They get 3 stars for the ambience, deep fried green beans, and friendly wait staff. The green beans were really amazing. My shrimp pasta was good too. Overall experience was unpleasant due to lengthy wait and lack of food options(because as I stated they ran out of ingredients). I am uncertain about whether I’d come back.

Just called in an order during lunch hours, I asked for a portobello sandwich. I asked for vegan(I’m lactose intolerant & don’t like meat or dairy anyway) they said okay, they can make that. But needed to get lettuce instead of a bun. I went with it. It was during my lunch break, so I went in and had to rush back to work. As I get back to work and I open up the box, I see I had cheese melted all over my mushroom and in the lettuce with mayo and all that stuff I don’t eat. Needless to say, I obviously did NOT want cheese or mayo after saying I didn’t want it in my bun. If I didn’t want it in my bun, why would I want it on my mushroom. This place does not care to listen. I had even given them a tip. Thanks a lot, I didn’t get to eat lunch. Never going back… I’d rather give my money to burgers & brew or the banshee.

Poor Pour House We made a reservation for a company gathering, 15 people for a Wednesday night. We sat outside and enjoyed the new patio atmosphere and large screen. We ordered drinks and food… the food took over an hour and 15 minutes. One person’s order didn’t even make it to the kitchen and they forgot to make another persons meal. The waitress didn’t seem to know what happened and said the manager would be over to speak with us shortly. The manager never came over to address the issues and didn’t seem to want to make it right. The food was good but the service was terrible. If your kitchen is too small and your staff can’t handle a large group meaning you can’t give every customer the same great experience you need to change something… expanding again may not be the answer.

Came here for lunch. The servers were very friendly but the service was super slow. Took way to long to get drinks, food and refills. The food was good that’s why I gave it three stars.

Delicious food and great drinks. The salad was fresh, Thai dressing was amazing, ahi poke appetizer was made with quality fish and the flavor was super tasty. For dinner I had fish and sweet potato chips. It was perfectly cooked and flaky. Saer had the NY steak that was cooked just right and was nicely seasoned. The best part was the service. Zach was awesome! Ali was great and the rest of the staff was also attentive and genuinely kind. It was a wonderful meal and experience.

My first two experiences here weren’t really anything to review about. It was neither very good nor bad. This last time I came to dine however, impressed me very much. My boyfriend and I came from Buffalo Wild Wings after waiting for a little over 30 minutes for waitstaff to greet us at our table, so we were hangry and had no patience left. Pour House was equally as busy, but we were sat and waited on immediately. Our waitress was fantastic and very attentive which I had to thank her for at least a few times. Our food was hot and very good. Thank goodness for this place that day! I can’t wait to eat here again.

Pour House is good. I can’t wait to try their new patio space. Something I get there they make vegan by putting in on a lettuce bun, but I can’t remember what it is. The patty itself is vegan but they don’t have vegan buns so they lettuce wrap it. It’s a little loud inside so I am excited for the outdoor space. Fun to see what’s on tap. I’d still opt for Sierra Nevada or Burgers and Brew but it’s a nice alternative.

This is a fun place with good beer and an above average menu of bar food. A couple of colleagues and I went there during an out of town job and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly staff, good brews and the food was delicious. I’m pretty sure it won’t disappoint.

This place is a great place to go to get drinks and food with friends. Especially before the movies! It is not the best place for food in Chico so people should get the expectation out of their brains. What Pour House does offer is great service and wonderful bar tenders. Their Happy Hour is awesome and definitely well worth it! I feel that their signature items are their deep fried green beans and yummy aioli sauce! As well as their AMAZING Ahi Poke tostadas. I will always come back to the Pour House because of their service, happy hour, and Tostados. Don’t Miss OUT! Happy Hours 3 – 9 and 9-closing! Can’t wait to see what their new remodel includes.
