Very nice job. My calloused feet with stubby nails were probably challenging. The woman did a great job and didn’t rush. I felt pampered!

I found this place just by searching for nail salons nearby on maps. My band is in town for some gigs from Seattle. I’m not a girly girl and do not get my nails done terribly often but after spending a week on the road with a bunch of boys, I needed some girl time. I walked in 90 degree heat for about 20 min to get to the place from where we were staying. There was a little bit of a wait as everyone currently had a client in front of them at the time. It was very cool in the shop, looked clean and didn’t smell too chemically. I got a full set which cost me $ 25, totally reasonable. Chu is who did my nails and he was very professional, kind of quiet, but deliberate. I really like that he got the job done without hurting my hands. I have arthritis(even as a young 26 yr old) in my hands and sometimes when I would get my nails done, the twisting of my fingers and filing and overall roughness of some manicurists can be painful. This time I did not feel a thing. My nails look gorgeous, and not too thick as acrylics can be sometimes. I really liked that I could see them sanitize the tools. Chu put a new file out of the bag on and the other person working there I saw scrub and sanitize the pedicure station when her client left. They were very concerned about me walking in the heat and made me drink lots of water before leaving which was sweet. I think the only reason for not giving 5 stars is the language barrier(which is sometimes expected) and while its no fault of theirs, I just like to be able to converse when I get my nails done and it’s hard to when you can understand one another. Totally will come back if I’m in the area.

First and LAST time going here. I really don’t understand the ratings of this place. If you’re hoping for a gel manicure, I hope you like pink. Their gel colors are basically 1000 different shades of pink. Also, they make you pay before they do your nails. So it’s hard to know what you should tip. I wish I wouldn’t have at all. The lady doing my nails was extremely rude. She said for me «stop making my nails go up»??? And finally said«fine do what you want I’m done»??? And did I mention how dirty everything is? For $ 30 I’ll go elsewhere. Now I’m left with a horrible pink manicure and polish all over my fingers.

Ana is your person if you go there. She is awesome! I was so indecisive regarding the color I want, I changed multiple times. She was so patient. No random BS talk, just plan simple and genuine. Loved my visit there. Not too crowded either. I think I found my nail place!

My mom was a customer for 6 years at this location and absolutely loves Mae. However, Chu, is an extremely rude man. He makes you feel very unwelcome and almost as if you are an inconvenience. I do not recommend this location to anyone. Chu needs to learn some customer service skills.

I come literally every 2 weeks to nails chu and Lee and they give amazing service. May is my favorite by far to do my nails and her attention to detail is the best I’ve seen.

They give the best pedicures… attention to detail which I love. The prices are fair in comparisson to other nail salons in Chico. I always make an appointment to be seen because I do not like to wait. They are always very accomidating and I have never been told that I couldn’t come in at a certain time I requested. Very friendly, but sometimes a little too chatty when I just want to relax. But, I guess that is better than being ignored completely. I highly recommend.
