California Tacos RED Taco Truck

I have tried 4 times to eat from here… 4 times driving WAY out of my way to get some of the Indian tacos I’ve heard about… and 4 times they have not been there. It is hard to like a place when they are inconsistent and do not post their hours anywhere.
I was getting their location from Chico Street Food off Facebook… but the guy that does the posts got so fed up with having to hunt these guys down that he just gave up… sort of like me. I’ve tried so many times and I really do want to try these guys out because their menu sounds good– I’m just SO FED UP with having them not be there when they say they are that I’m just going to give up.
I’m not expecting anything authentic from a taco truck called CALIFORNIA tacos– especially because their specialty is Indian tacos– but I would expect that they just be there for me to give them my money. It isn’t too much to ask is it?

I’ve eaten far more burritos during my day than I’d care to admit, but I tell you, this is some prime fare. Between the juicy sauce-​covered beef, crunchy onions and deep-​fried tortillas, I really couldn’t ask for more.
The prices were good; this spot goes for quality over quantity, and I can dig that. You still get some decent weight for your buck in any case, not to mention the calories that must come with all that aforementioned deep-​frying. My standard-​sized burrito was $ 3.50. I highly recommend it!

«Hands down the worst taco truck in town! Tried it twice and was disappointed both times! Tortillas are greasy… Meat is over cooked … Both chicken and beef! And both times my order was made wrong! Needless to say I will not be going back!
