Been coming here since it was CR Beans. I’m addicted to the Cable Car Chiller. The service is always super fast and friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience here, even when Cal Java took over. I love this place, please never leave me.

This place has solid coffee but twice now I’ve ordered a 24oz drink and been given the wrong size. Today it was the wrong size, no honey or cream that was requested.
24oz Americano w/​cream and a little bit of honey… apparently it meant 20oz Americano w/​nothing else to the dude making it.

They have amazing coffee and smoothies. My favorite drink is the Carmel Whipped Cream Coffee. I really recommend this place to everybody really good stuff! Oh also they have breakfast pastry!

I used to live near this Cal Java and went there often. They have the best mocha around and were always friendly. On days when I would walk my dog, even he would get a smile and a treat. Highly recommend!

There’s a girl who works this kiosk who absolutely made my day. She was so genuinely friendly, recommended her favorite drink when I asked for help ordering, and made meaningful conversation with me while I waited.
I know this review is supposed to be about the drink (which was, incidentally, a blended Vanilla Chai, and not half bad), but because customer service in Chico (particularly from college students) is so universally deplorable, I really felt the need to call this place out.
Thanks, Cal Java, for putting a smile on my face. I will definitely be back for more.
