We were visiting from Florida for my nieces graduation. Stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant. Super friendly service. The food is awesome! I agree with another Unilocaler, best crab Rangoon! Definitely give this place a try

Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I’ve ordered for delivery twice and both times have been great. Delivery has been fast, food was hot.

I don’t know what everyone is complaining about, but I love this place. We’ve ordered three times and I’ve enjoyed it every time. It’s one of the few places in Chicago where I’ve found chicken chow mein cantonese with pan fried noodles, my favorite Chinese dish, and it’s done exactly the way I would expect. My boyfriend has gotten something different each time and has also enjoyed each dish he’s gotten. He now gets the pan fried noodles with his food as well — if you haven’t tried those, get on that. It’s also the fastest delivery I’ve had on Grubhub. It was 15 minutes the last two times and were about a mile away in the Gold Coast. Highly recommend.

Great cheap Chinese food place. Fast delivery. Always get order right. Have both Szechuan and Cantonese.

I work at a nearby hotel and recommend this place to guests when they’re looking for delivery. We also order from here every once in a while BUT we’re completely removing this place from out list because of horrible customer service. We placed an order for delivery and not only was the order wrong but when we called to inform them of this the lady who answered gave us a simple«I read the order back to you.» We clearly stated we were not looking for a refund or exchange and just wanted to make them aware but she continued with«what do you want me to do about it.»

I just moved one block from this restaurant. A friend of mine told me this was very good, so even if quite skeptical because of the many negative reviews I thought to give it a try. I come from NY and I am really used to great Chinese food! People are very nice and helpful there, I ordered a combo of spring roll, chicken broccoli and pork fried rice to go. Apart from the fact the combo was a good 40% more expensive than NYC in a similar place, I have to say that I was quite disappointed. I asked for«easy sauce» for the chicken, but definitely wasn’t expecting a steamed chicken and broccoli… Spring roll was mediocre, and I still have to find the pork in the rice, which was a vague brownish rice with an indistinctive flavor. When u have to add lots of soy sauce and duck sauce to increase the flavor, it’s not a good sign. I was tempted to give a 2 stars, but I switched to 3 just because they were nice. Definitely not a repeat for me.

I have been ordering from this restaurant for the last 15 years after first moving into the area and although the ownership has changed hands a few times, the food is always good and hot and the delivery is some of the quickest I have ever seen. One of the few restaurants that has Mandarin duck and it is very good. If they ever close I will probably stop eating Chinese food altogether.

I’ve been looking for a good Chinese delivery place since I moved to Fulton River District, and after ordering from Yu Shan via Grubhub, I’ll keep looking. Delivery was super fast and friendly and they got my order right, but I wasn’t as big a fan of the food as I would have liked. The crab rangoon had what appeared to be mozzarella cheese in it, not cream cheese, which was bizarre. The taste of the schezwan green beans was ok, but they were soggy and generally unappetizing. The sesame chicken was small and dehydrated, though the flavor was decent. My cantonese noodle and fried rice sides were dry and I didn’t care to eat them. And since when does one have to pay extra for fortune cookies?! Not cool.

the only reason I stumbled into this joint was at the mercy of hunger taking over… was around the corner of a work event. my «just feed me!» mode caused me to make the mistake of not Unilocaling beforehand. At 1.5x the average price, it’s less than impressive Chinese takeout(in terms of both portions & authentic flavors). I sat here 15mins waiting for my to-go order. Upon paying, I noticed«complimentary wifi» hence changed my mind & wanted to at least eat my egg roll & scoop a few bites of my fried rice while it’s hot. But the moment I opened up my to-go brown bag & reached for my egg roll, a lady walked over to flag and prevent me from eating it in their restaurant! since I ordered«to-go» kinda embarrassing, but I didn’t even care by that point. I politely asked why/what’s the reason for all these tables & chairs if a customer can’t sit down & eat. avoid direct answer with«that’s just what I’ve been told…» Owner? do yourself a favor & take a Food Services 101 class. Regret giving an undeserved tip. only to get basically kicked out at the end???

This restaurant is two places in one. The menu is somewhat extensive meaning it doesn’t just have one ethnic dish. Their menu has American dishes as well. I always get carry out because I really do not like dining in.

For a round of random Chinese, I guess it is ok. For what you ordered… A surprise awaits you. I came home with something different than I ordered.

I pass by this place all the time on my way home, I finally went in to give it a try. Unfortunately I will not return. The food is so-so but the small portion is what surprised me. I ordered a lunch version and I was only half full, I had to cook something else to eat back home. For 25% less you can get a full lunch portion at Panda Express and the food is better there too.

This place was absolutely TERRIBLE. Food is bland and obviously low grade. I did not taste crab, cheese, or flavor in my rangoons, it tasted more like plain mashed potatoes in a deep fried casing. Hot and sour soup is neither hot nor sour, it’s a thin liquid with a hint of stock/generic soup flavoring. First time I’ve ordered from here. On top of everything, customer service is just terrible!!! I will NEVEREVEREVER order from here again, I suggest that you don’t waste your money either!!!

Ordered delivery and it took almost 2 hours. When I called they told me they didn’t have a driver until an hour after I was waiting but failed to mention it to me when I ordered. …The food was good though.

Quick delivery but absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever had! Ordered beef fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken and broccoli beef. Ended up with two servings of white rice and some random vegetables with bean sprouts instead of noodles. When I called back to let them know our order was wrong, they had the nerve to say it was our fault and asked us for at least a $ 10 secondary order to deliver the correct first order. Absolutely ridiculous! Do not get food here unless you want to get a stomach ache like I did. Gross!

Ordered a crab rangoon, two hot and sour soups, an empress chicken, and a chicken fried rice. We received the order within the hour so that’s a star especially since we’re in the middle of a snowpocalypse, but I noticed the order was cheaper than expected. That’s because we were missing our crab rangoon. And for whatever reason, my empress chicken was missing the chicken. It was pretty spicy which i requested, so another star for that.

Ordered here from . Food came fast and when I opened the door the delivery man was literally running(full speed) down the hall with me food, great effort! This is good go to delivery Chinese, we had the pork lo mien and chicken chow mien, unlike most westernized Chinese food this was not swimming in grease! We enjoyed both meals! The lo mien noodles were really thin and stringy, not what I was used to but still good!

After two delivery orders, one lunch and one dinner, I’m a fan. The sauce on the empress chicken was not my favorite, but I’m impressed by how they package the crispy things separately from the sauce that goes on them. I like the way they make their fried rice. Moo shu is good. Kung pao is good, and a quick phone call to alert them was all it took to exchange meat for tofu. The crab rangoon is some of the best I’ve had from delivery joints. Probably the best thing has been very quick delivery — to Lincoln Park in about half an hour. I don’t know if they can do that all the time, but they’ve done it for me twice, and that makes them my go-to Chinese delivery joint.
