I agree about the front desk employees, but I have to applaud Mitchell Smith, Head Librarian for «holding down the fort» as he consistently brings quality performances, lectures and mini-​art galleries relating to the African-​American experience to this difficult location. New authors readings, a killer jazz concert program on alternate Saturdays and I hear piano lessons will be coming soon. The community seems most appreciative of his efforts; this library is more than a place to stay warm or to research stuff on the internet.
