I went last week for some fries on my way to a work meeting and its right off the 49 Western bus stop. Its decent not a lot of hoodrats hanging out there orders taken quickly. It’s clean but they need to keep the floors mopped since people spill a lot of stuff on the floors causing it to get sticky frequently. Good service overall.

I can’t lie … writing this review right now makes me want to go get a couple cheeseburgers. I love White Castles but the service, of course, varies from location to location. This one is pretty decent in terms of service and quality. I haven’t had any bad experiences with the staff although they can seem a bit moody when taking your order in the drive-thru but for some reason by the time you get up to the window to get your food they seem to be real polite and hospitable lol. I never go in so i don’t know what the place is like on the inside but this the White Castle that i frequent the most.

Although I’m usually not in this area, I found myself here while en route home after a funeral.
Absolutely starving I decided to drive through for a slider to hold me over until I got home for dinner. I didn’t expect much from the food, it’s a white castle slider, they pretty much are the same everywhere.
What was DIFFERENT about this white castle is that the woman working drive-thru was extremely courteous. My order was wrong even though it appeared correct on the drive-thru screen, but I didn’t even call back to complain because the drive-thru personnel was so nice I wouldn’t dare say anything that may get her in trouble.
She had a smile in her voice and at the window. Great job!

For what it is: A WHITE CASTLE. Its okay. Back in the day at my Bucktown home on the North Side we use to go to White Castle on Milwaukee and Armitage and this one reminded me of that. I go through the Drive Thru and it is really fast. They get your order and even are pleasant about it. I like when an employee smiles and says «Have a wonderful day» even if the day is gloomy and dank, this helps.
They are just White Castle but I do go back all the time, it does help when you get treated well. PS: If you live in the neighborhood, USE THE COUPONS that they give you in the mail and get free items.
