Whale Fish & Chicken

I visited this place on Friday evening I ordered a 10 piece dinner (Chicken/​Perch) I got it home and the Perch was RAW!!! I immediately called and talked with a man who told me to bring it back. Welp! I went in and immediately was treated deplorably! I told him that he should replace the entire meal. He shouted «No just the Fish!!! I told him I traveled a distance to return the food and his reply was «Oh nice neighborhood». I immediately pressed record and recorded the entire exchange as well as photos. The customer service was awful! Save your money folks! A big fat NEGATIVE!

The place is not clean and they have replaced the catfish with cheaper swai fish and the difference in taste is evident. It sucks that so many places don’t even have catfish anymore and aren’t letting customers know what fish they are REALLY getting…

Going into this Whales was definitely an experience I would have given this place 5 stars because my catfish tails were so Jam good it was cooked to perfection. It was fresh and flaky like fish should be and the lemon pepper sprinkled on top made it even better. My sister had the perch and she said it was absolutely delicious. The reason I had to knock it down to 3 stars is because they were slow, it was dirty, the menu on the wall were opened so you couldn’t really see what they had and the hand written ones they had all over were a bit confusing at times.
People coming in and smoking cigarettes, drinking etc. but I have to say they did ask them to leave when they did so I don’t ding the business for other people being rude.
I would suggest you call your order in instead of ordering at the window because they stay crowded from what I understand and especially on a Saturday. I mean that is a testament to how good the food is from this Whales. I mean people were ordering pans of wings, and fish like they were giving away a fresh 100 dollar bill with each order.
So overall I will order from them again when I am in the area but I will make sure its a call in order because they do have quality in their food they just need to work on the inside of the restaurant.
