Walgreens

This place is always packed ²⁴⁄₇. Ever since they remodeled it, it seems like they acquired more customers. They even tore down 2 houses to make a larger parking lot. There’s always a line in the photo section, in the front registers, and even in the pharmacy, ALWAYS! it’s frustrating having to wait so long to check out and there’s usually only 2 registers open.

Waiting to drop off a prescription while the staff gossips at the pharmacy counter the line almost to the door and this people taking their sweet time

Great place open ²⁴⁄₇ wgich is great but the place gets really packed but the ppl work hard and as fast as they can

I love this place.
It is open ²⁴⁄₇ so if you need them, they are open.
They just remodeled the store completely and it looks better and cleaner than ever.
It is surprising the items you will find in this Walgreens: Fresh fruit, even sandwiches for the after the bar midnight munchies. There are not too many places open 24 in this neighborhood.
The service is really fast and professional, I have not needed the actual pharmacy and I hope I never do. But the employees on the store side are nice and fast.
And yes, the parking can get a little crazy, but with a little bit of patience and help from street parking, you will always manage to get in, get what you need and go.
They have good service and are open ²⁴⁄₇.

Alright location but I wish the pharmacy would work a bit faster here.

I give credit to the people who handle the check out counters and the workers as a whole with one major exception.
The pharmacy!
Perhaps the slowest laziest and most careless pharmacy on the south side! Simply put they take forever to fill a prescription and to make matters worse (according to some people I know who frequent this place) the pharmacists sometime say «oh It will be ready tomorrow» but nope they flat out ignore that promise and instead you have to wait another day! Just to pick up your medicine and in some cases they may give you the wrong medicine!
I advise anyone who lives in the Gage Park neighborhood or anyone around the area to steer clear of this Walgreen’s if you are in need of a prescription to fill. However stop buy if you want chips, deodorant, or condoms but nothing else.
My two cents and hey if service improves (hey i got sources) I may change my review but until then stay away.
ps yes the parking sucks!!!

Located on a busy intersection, this Walgreen’s has a medium sized private parking lot, with lots of business! Come nightfall, it looks a nightclub as cars circle around waiting for you to pull out and leave, they literally need valet parking at this location.
Aside from the scandalous parking situation, this Walgreens is normal, safe like any old Walgreens.
