Pharmacy is brilliant but I did have to deal with possibly the most rude cashier and person I’ve had to deal with. He made a scene in front of other customers and gave my 58 year old mother a hard time. I was seen carrying beer for her to purchase as a family party was our next stop, she can’t carry more than five pounds after a lower back surgery left her with metal bars on each side of her spine. He wanted to card me and I didn’t even have my wallet so I explained to him why I was carrying it and I had to leave before the situation escalated, absolutely uncalled for and I while not be returning as long as I know he’s still working there. Thanks for the kind service, Daniel.

This Walgreens is definitely old school. It’s smaller then most other Walgreens in the area and even though I live less then a block away from here I still prefer to go to the Walgreens on 55^th and Kedzie which is open 24 hours. They rarely have what’s on sale in their print add but the staff will give you a rain check if you ask for one. The staff are courteous and friendly.

The people are nice and they aren’t expensive, isn’t that the point. They do have a very old school drug store vibe which reminds me of my childhood.

This walgreens is very small. They never have anything available that is on the sales paper so I only come here for my prescription because its close to my house. Also the web pick up service needs serious work. I placed my order online to go pick up at the store and no one could help me find my order when I went to pick it up. Manager did apologize for inconvenience but it was enough for me to never order online again!
