Worst customer service. I placed an order over the phone for pick up, the girl said 25 minutes. I showed up half an hour later for them to tell me that they don’t take orders over the phone. Really?!

This place is piece of Shit great pizza horrible service will never order again complete thugs

I would seriously give zero stars if I could. I ordered a simple grilled chicken sandwich, add cheese. When I picked it up, not only did it not have cheese, it only had lettuce and tomato, no onions or mayo and was so dried out you couldn’t even eat it. So I call and talk to some young kid and obviously he can’t do anything about it. So he asks some guy in the back who blames me of course for ordering wrong and says he will make another one but I need to come all the way back there NOW. umm… No. They did not apologize, offer a credit, or anything to rectify the situation. I will NOT be back.

I used to order from here 10 years ago & just started again, never an issue but I suggest ordering a pizza instead of a slice, much better in taste!

BERWYN LOCATION: We ordered pizza earlier tonight now technically last night at 945pm. We are still waiting for delivery and when we called realized that they closed at midnight. When we placed our order the gentleman on the phone knew our address and name, maybe from caller id and we have ordered from here before. He took our order and said it would be a little over an hour. We live down the street from this place and somehow our order was not delivered. No phone call no show. This will be the last time we order since it is 1am on Sunday and we have not had dinner. We have since ordered from Al’s and we are sure that they will deliver on time.

The supposed «manager» named Jose at this location gave me such a hard time when I tried placing an order. It started with my area code, which is a Chicagoland area code that is less common but widely known (224). He said he could not provide service unless it was 773, 312, 708 «or something like that». Wth? I explained it was a Chicagoland area code and that there wouldn’t be an issue calling me back. He had an attitude from the start rushing my order, talking over me, and questioning every answer I gave all the the way through the end when payment came up. He asked several questions about ID, imprint, which Id usually understand but gosh, that attitude! It was just terrible. I asked if he gave everyone that hard of a time and I just got more sarcasm and resistance. I asked to speak to a manager and to my surprise, guy tells me he’s the manager. Really? No apology or explanation. I have no issue talking my business elsewhere. I used to order from there all the time in the past… NEVER again.

Went in last night for pizza slices. Old, cold and gross! Have always had good pizza here, you would think they would make fresh ones every once in awhile! Next time will order a whole pizza but probably not at this Waldo’s! One on 111^th always has great pizza! u

Years ago I would order for delivery and I’ve been wanting to stop by the location and now I am just picking up a pizza pie for the family. The memories of this pizza is really now making me feel so nostalgic and glad I decided to stop by.
The first time I came into the joint and it’s actually super clean with vintage (not real vintage) signs hanging all over the walls all the way from Betty Boop to Mohawk Gasoline signs. It adds a charm to the place indeed. But the pizza? LOVE THE THIN CRUST FOR SURE. It is the right amount of sauce and perfect taste throughout the pie. And 16″ pie will feed at least 5 grown ass adults! The cheese is the perfect consistency and the sausage hits the perfect taste of flair. Check them out and they do have a parking lot.

Pizza is decent, not my favorite but everyone else in the house is content with it. Service is not the best, every time we call we are on hold forever. Looks like they need to invest in a second person to man the phones. Let me guess, the longer we are on hold the more menu items you get to push during the hold time. Sneaky move.
Never had a problem with delivery guys. Pizza gets delivered in a decent time.
Biggest peeve? I hate when a business gives you too many no’s, with so much competition that shouldn’t be the case. I recently went in there to order a pizza to go

Tried this particular Waldo’s the other day. I ordered a slice of sausage and a beef sandwich. Their slices are double dough but you can order a full pizza with thin crust. Im gonna do that, because their sauce and sausage were really flavorful. Cheese quality is very good as well.
While the beef was good as well. I feel for $ 4.99 it should have been a bigger sandwich when compared to the size of the beef at Pizza Plus in Hometown Plaza, just minutes down the road on SW Highway
All in all, will def’ go back again…

We called tonight for delivery… first thing I asked is how long is it taking for delivery was told within the hour. I placed a order and we waited for 90 minutes called back and was told they left 20 minutes ago I live about 2 miles away. We waited 10 more minutes still no one here then I called back to cancel the order. The guy on the phone was a complete jerk!!! The delivery guy showed up 20 minutes later as we were walking out the door!!! We told him we cancelled the order and he mumbled something and walked away slamming the car door.
It was the first and last time I order from here!

I went in for a slice of pizza. Basically I walk in and the place it is practically empty. Which is always a bad sign. I pass this place all of the time and it seems to stand out since it is right in the corner. I order the # 6 special which is a pizza slice, a drink and fries for $ 4.99. I also ordered a second slice of pizza. I was told there is only cheese and they literally only have 2 cheese pizza’s in the warmer. I am not going to wait 25 minutes for 2 slices of sausage pizza. So i go for the cheese. I am told there is going to be a wait for the fries. It seems fine too. I am about to ask for their cheese sticks. Was told before hand we have no public washrooms. «okay» I said.
I am given my order the #6 which includes the pizza slice, the soda and the fries. I guess he forgot about the second pizza. Well I am glad that he did. The bread was as thick as the length of a quarter and the cheese was as thin as paper. Definitely will not be going back.

For cheap eats, can’t go wrong with the portions & quality’s fairly good.
Whenever I need a chicken wing fix but I’m really short on cash, I get their Tuesday special. The wings aren’t the best in the world but they’re meaty. I order from them for work from time to time & they always offer us great deals; especially when it comes to work orders.

Back on 12/​24/​2011; I left a comment reflecting the horrible service of Waldo Cooney’s, I mentioned I contacted the Better Business Bereau and according to them, Waldo Cooney’s has a month to try and solve this issue. Well, today is 1÷20÷2012 and after playing phone tag with «Jim», (manager?) and not a single conversation with Gary (owner) this situation remains the same. Maybe they believe I will go away, after about a month of, AGAIN, giving this business the benefit of the doubt, I remain certain that they’re personel really does not care of the service provided, now if this is true of the personnel, what can we expect from the quality of food.

I did not eat here… did not get THAT far…
I am staying 2.3 miles… that is 2 point 3 miles (like 10 minute drive) away from them and tried to call in an order for delivery. They CHARGE $ 3.00 for delivery.oh.and by the way.2.3 miles (10 minute drive), yeah that’s too far. They don’t deliver 2.3 miles away. Too far…
I know this review is somewhat venomous. I assure you I had just a normal voice tone with their «customer service» expert up until the point when he told me that 10 minutes was too far to drive for a $ 3.00 extra charge for delivery.
Eating at Angies… cheaper, no delivery charge, and don’t seem too concerned about those long distance delivery drives.

If you love sausage pizza then waldos is king. It’s not your typical snausage bits — it’s loaded with sausage. Same said with other ingredients; they don’t skimp

Waldo’s has the best pizza on the southside! There is nothing up and down Pulaski Rd. that compares to Waldo’s.

If you like good pizza this is the place to go.
They sell the biggest slices I have ever had for such a low price.
The stuff there slices with meat so don’t worry about that at all if you like sausages. There slices are a little thick so if you not a bigger eater this could be a good lunch and maybe a midnight snack.
The pan pizza are also great. I love pizza and this place will not let you down.
