Yum yum yum!!! Mini, small, medium, large, and gallon sizes offered. So many different flavor and they offer samples. The cute spoons look like mini shovels and the price is unbeatable. We got 2 mini gelatos and a single shot of espresso for $ 5.19, love it.

Every time I see hazelnut desserts, the fact that I’m lactose intolerant goes out the door. Just the thought of hazelnut desserts is making me drool as I’m writing this review. The first time that I tried Vero’s, they had a Ferrero Rocher gelato ice cream, and it was AMAZING. If you were to ask me to kiss the floor and do the hokey pokey dance to get this ice cream, DONE. It’s too bad that I haven’t seen this flavor since that first time. They’ve had hazelnut gelato ice cream each time that I’ve visited, but not the Ferrero Rocher brand. Regardless, they’re always an absolute party in my mouth. I usually get the mini size($ 1.25 for two scoops) with either a sugar cone or waffle cone($ 0.50). It comes out to $ 1.93, which is cheap considering what you’re getting. Hint: Get the waffle cone because it’s bigger, and you’re less likely to drip ice cream on yourself(if you’re a messy eater like me). There are plenty of seats in the café, so that you can sit down and enjoy whatever it is that you ordered. The only downsides are the flavors aren’t all labeled and there isn’t a clear-cut ordering or line-forming system. A bonus perk is that they have frequent buyer system. Buy 10 gelato items, get a free 12 oz. gelato or 16 oz. shake. *eyes sparkling in excitement* If you’re shopping at Mariano’s, I highly recommend stopping by here.

Vero’s offers a plethora of flavors. Some are good, others not so much. There’s free wi-fi and plenty of seats, as well as excellent service. The best thing about this joint is relative inexpensiveness of the gelato. $ 1 single servings to $ 6-$ 7 for a pint. Pretty sweet.

I was visiting the area from out of town and stopped in twice to enjoy some gelato and take a break and chat with my friend. I didn’t think the mini would be enough for me when I ordered it but it was more than enough. It was fun to walk through the store afterwards, too.

I’ve never had the coffee so this review is solely based on the gelato! It is very delicious. I’ve had the Disaronno more than once. It is unique and delicious! I’ve also sampled almost all of the other flavors. All great options. The pomegranate tasted really good. The price is definitely reasonable! It’s not mind-blowing, but it’s definitely great! It’s kind of like a fresher, different flavored Talenti!

I am a true fan of this place. The Coffee is great and there is nothing like a scoop of their Gelato after running around Mariono’s.

Ohmyword. Who still sells $ 1 gelato?! THIS place apparently. There were a myriad of flavors to choose from, all of which were quite good. It probably won’t be the bestest gelato you’ve ever laid your taste buds on, but who even notices when your mind is so blown away by the fact it is $ 1! And in all fairness, it is truly decently good gelato. They also have comfy couches, funky chairs, and a modern fireplace for you to chill by. Super solid.

My new favorite place to work and drink coffee. Free wifi, free coffee refills, access to all of Mariano’s groceries and bakery items. My go to maneuver is buying some bakery items and a piece of fruit upstairs, then coming downstairs to buy a coffee and work for a few hours. The free 2 hr parking is a nice benefit as well.

Free wifi AND beneath the best grocery store?! Count me in! $ 1 gelato. You can also often buy their $ 1 Mariano’s OJ right in front. A good working space, with a cozy fire and plenty of tables. Gets full around lunchtime. It’s a surprise coffeeshop to park your laptop in! I’m also curious about their wine/beer bar, which looks cozy.

I’m in the process /procrastination of writing a book so I frequent wifi– and caffeine-powered spots at least weekly. Since I regularly shop at Mariano’s, I decided to try Vero’s for a coffee and work space. There were plenty of open tables, many even next to power outlets. I picked a spot, settled in, and quickly noticed fruit flies buzzing by. Within the first five minutes, I was so grossed out and frustrated by fly swatting that I had to exit and revert to the nearby Starbucks. I’m sure your gelato is lovely but please clean and debug your café.

Had the gelato and coffee, both were great. Get the mini, which is only $ 1. They have a large selection of gelato.

Can’t beat $ 1 gelato! My favorites are the classic pistachio and the Ferrero Rocher!

1 dollar for a «mini» gelato! Best dollar deal ever! The cup is not so mini. 20 – 30 flavors to choose from… the only problem was that some were not labeled. Free wifi but this is not a place you would want to sit and relax… a bit loud since it is the lobby to Mariano’s.

This is for gelato. How can you not like the gelato here. Good selection, big portion, good service. I eat a two scoop ice cream(99cents) whenever I grocery shop at Mariano’s. Most of all, however, it tastes great. End of story.

I really wanted to like this place, seriously. I have a standing coffee date with a friend every week. 3 weeks ago, we switched to this location instead of the Starbucks down the street. Free wifi, decent coffee and a good breakfast selection. What could go wrong? Well, the service is terrifically inefficient, they’ll skip you over a regular and in the last 3 weeks, they messed up my breakfast sandwich order twice. And when I mean mess up, I mean skipped it all together. When I asked the woman(both times the same one), she was short — as if I had to justify that I actually ordered it. I hope they pull themselves together.

The gelato is good and plentiful. It’s not awesome gelato but it’s definitely not bad. AND you get a lot of sugar for the money. Heap it in there! Value score!(hence the 4 star rating) I’m not sure why the reviews knock the place for ambiance… You walked into a Marianos. this is a grocery store. I’m not sure what you were expecting but the noise level didn’t take away from the enjoyment of my sweet treat one bit. The seating space is pretty large and the last time I went I saw some opportunistic students there typing away at their laptops to take advantage of the free WiFi, availability of snacks and coffee, and the courtesy of not being asked to leave. If I worked /studied here regularly I’d be massively fat. I kinda wish that it wasn’t common practice to serve your gelato with a utensil that looks much like a mini shovel. I KNOW that’s how I use it… but you don’t have to make it so damn obvious! Mini teaspoons, please. TIP: Be sure to register your Mariano’s card to be a part of their gelato club. Yep! You read right… fatasses rejoice! You can eat your way towards FREE gelato. I think the deal is 5 or 10 purchases scores you a freebie.

This establishment is part of Mariano’s Fresh Market. It offers sandwiches, beverages, desert, and a rotating assortment of gelato. There is a little seating area for you to enjoy your food and drinks or just have some quality time with friends. Oh, there is also free wi-fi for all those technological heads… SCORE! This café is similar to a fast food joint where you would order at the counter and seat yourself. There is no sort of organization to the ordering process. Customers would just stand around in somewhat of a line, but the counter guy would just skip over people and would serve whomever he fancied. WTH?!? I can’t say anything about their food/beverages because the couple of times I have been here, I only ordered their gelato. It was ok, but I had better at other places. I would rate this café higher if it was better organized and had friendlier staff, but for now 2 stars will have to do. I’ll probably stop by again while shopping at Mariano’s because of the convenience. I also heard good things about their café items and definitely will be returning to check them out.

This coffee shop is part of the Mariano’s Fresh Market establishment. This location has terrible service and not much of a selection of snacks, but the gelato is refreshing and the helpings are large. There is also a seating area in the back. Great for a quick rest but not ideal for your typical café lounging. The noise level is high and the music is occasionally interrupted by the grocery store loudspeaker. I RECOMMEND: The croissants EXTRATIP: Iced Tea is unsweetened and can’t be ordered otherwise.
