An Old Logan Square Taqueria that has some really great food. Stop here with a friend while passing by and had a really great experience. Food was excellent and good. I like that it had an old-school Taqueria feel to it

Friendly staff really makes a place. The staff here was great and friendly. Example 1: First time being here, I asked about whether they’re red and green sauce was homemade. The lady said yes with a smile, and I thought that was it. Nope, she brought out a couple of homemade chips and let me try them. Example 2: The cook made some small talk, mentioning how big the torta was and how a big serving of fries was provided. All in a friendly manner with a smile on his face. I appreciate good/solid/friendly people. Can make all of the experience. Curious if they were husband and wife. Now, I ordered the Chorizo con Huevos(Huevos = eggs and if you don’t know that by now, having lived in America, you’re ignorant. Hey, no one cares about«learning our(english) language» bullshit) Tortas with a side of fries. The tortas was indeed large and the serving of fries(which were seasoned) was indeed plentiful(fries maybe being under-salted, but come on man, salt ‘em yourself, the salt level was to my liking). Unfortunately they were out of avocados, so it was missing on my torta, but no matter, it was great as is, and it’s good to know they get fresh ingredients(possibly daily). The story was some guy came in and ordered 8 servings of guacamole to go(got damn!). You do you guac. person. I could go into how great the chorizo was and all that, but I’m no poet. I got it to go(received my order quickly) and asked for some of the green sauce(which is amazing!). The whole meal cost ~$ 7 dollars making this affordable as hell. Plus the food was great and I am beyond full! I’ll definitely be coming back here to try out other things on their menu, and regret just now finding the place after living in the area for almost a year. Gonna pass out from a food coma now. Oh, the interior. Dude are you looking for something decorative and elegant? Fuck out of here with that bullshit. It’s a taco joint. The interior had tables, that’s all it needs. Wait, it also had a fish tank with fish in it, so nice touch there.

First time here, the food was good. The bathroom was broken which is never good! The inside was okay, it’s could definitely be upgraded so it’s more welcoming.

Got the taco dinner with 2 steak and 1 al pastor. The al pastor was good, just and flavorful. The steak was even better with a great crispiness. Rice and beans were solid too, not too salty, which I like. For the price this can’t be beat, I will be back, and soon!

Textbook greasy spoon but the Best Al Pastor burrito I’ve had and great service to boot. Use the red sauce! Crunchy yet doughy tortilla, and super flavorful. Free chips(unlike most places around here). Prices for tacos are some of the lowest around. 2 tacos and chips for under $ 4. Dollar for dollar this is an outstanding value.

Ate here and parked for a concert across the street ended up with food poisoning, and got blocked in after the show! The guy who was in charge of the parking was rude to! Don’t go here unless you like spending a lot of time in the bathroom.

I had lunch here today. The service was friendly and I paid at the register beforehand even though I was dining in. I had three tacos: chorizo, al pastor, and carne asada. They weren’t the best tacos I’ve ever had but they were a steal at $ 1.50 each. The chorizo was nicely spiced, the al pastor was fatty but in a good way, and the asada was solid. I also had a large horchata which was served in a big glass mug and very tasty. Overall I would say this isn’t the best Mexican in Logan Square but it’s an excellent value and worth a try.

Amazing place but they would do SOMUCHMOREBUSINESS if they stayed open a little later. I know It says ten but really they close by 830 most nights. Currently standing outside after I called to check their hours. they told me 10. it’s 940 and all locked up. For this neighborhood midnight isn’t in reasonable. Best tacos around but I feel like it’s a late night spot that refuses to cater to their crowd.

Amazing taco shop. My wife and I just got to chicago from California and had dinner here. This will definitely be the first of many. The tortas are great and the carne asada is perfectly seasoned, moist, yet crisp on the edges. I’m going to try the lenguas next time we’re here(you know it’s legit Mexican food if they serve lenguas).

So good! Fresh and delicious. Great portions. We had the tortas al pastor and Cecina. The lady who works there is so sweet and down to earth. I think it’s the own. They have as a free taco to try. So fresh. The meat is really good. We just moved from California where we have a lot of delicious Mexican food. Defiantly gonna be our after work favorite !! Loved it

Awesome food, awesome service! A family run business that caters to its customers! The owner told me chips were free for dine-in customers because of the many times she had been made to pay for chips at restaurants. How cool is that? Come support this local business!!!

Stopped in before a show at the Concord across the street. Holy moly! Fire. Asada burrito was the best I have had since being in Chicago. Not to mention super cheap. 5 buckaroos.

Great food, super cheap and friendly — had the cecina, asada, and al pastor tacos, and the asada torta and they were all good, with the pastor standing out as very good. All of that for less than $ 14 with drinks. Sad we didn’t try the burrito, but that’s on the list for next time — all they need now is a liquor license :)

Best tacos in the area(concluded after extensive research), and everyone who works there is always very friendly. Chilaquiles, Jamaica, and chorizo are awesome.

We were two Canadians seeking delicious ramen down the street, but alas were denied. Lucky for us, Mexican is another favourite for us! We saw Turbo Tacos as we passed to get to the other place, and immediately headed there when we couldn’t get into our original choice. From the outside its a little questionable, I admit… But the minute you walk in and the smell hits you! Yum! Boyfriend had taco after taco, the food was as close to being in Mexico as you could get(for us!). The Canadians got their Mexican fix in the USA, and that’s ok. The service was amazing, they made sure we had some free wifi, which is important when traveling abroad!

Probably the best burrito I’ve ever had. The tortilla is almost more like a paratha than a traditional tortilla. If you like crunchy on the outside and doughy in the middle, you know what to expect from the«tortilla» they use. Simply amazing I get a mix of chorizo and carne asada, combined with that paratha outside, I’m floored every time. Salty, greasy, hot, and above all, as delicious as it gets I can’t speak to their other food because i can’t venture away from this order. Have it with their orange sauce and prepare to be happy Excellent service as well!

Came here late night, worse place to go to. We were at the Concord and looking for late night eats of course. We dodged traffic and came to this spot. We probably should of just gotten into an Über and went to L’Patron. The service was very poor, food was nothing that I could of made at home. Not only will we continue to dodge traffic, but definitely this place in the future. Odd though, because the other reviews were high.

I stopped into this place on a whim prior to heading into a show across the street at the Concord. Dangerous move, getting Mexican right before heading into an hours-long event at an enclosed venue with no re-entry. But wound up having zero regrets! The Chorizo Tacos were so good that I had dreams about them during my booze-soaked slumber that night. Couldn’t stop thinking about Turbo Tacos so I went back the next day and ordered a Chorizo Torta. Also a top-notch piece of cuisine. Some of the tastiest chorizo I’ve ever eaten. My friends all enjoyed their meals as well. And the staff were super friendly and lightning fast with the service. Price point is extremely respectable as well, helping to earn that all-important 5th star. Not sure when the next time I will ever be in the area is. But if I don’t have time or $$$ to go to Wasabi instead(ultimate Ramen house across the street), I will definitely hit up Turbo Tacos again!
