Review is for Nosh37 at Block37. Great selection of vendors and live music. Really diverse offerings including Demera Ethiopean, Garifuna Belizean, Rickshaw Republic Indonesian, and Dia de Los Tamales. Grabbing a plate from Demera’s stall at Nosh37 was a cheap, convenient(but no less tasty) way to try their food.

Thursdays and Fridays from 11:00am to 2:00pm on the Plaza I was sad when the Nosh went away at Block 37, but stumbed upon it at the Plaza! The Nosh is such a great idea. About 15 local vendors sell freshly prepared dishes at the plaza while a live DJ spins. I look at it like a Farmers Market without you having to prepare the food :) The uniqueness behind the Nosh is it’s a pop up food market. On Thursdays and Fridays from 11:00am to 2:00pm they will be selling food items out on the beautiful Plaza. There are many tables(with umbrellas… yes!!) to sit at and you have a perfect view of the River and people watching as you eat. Here’s the website listing food vendors The three food vendors that I have tried so far is Tamales(you can also find them at the Farmers Market at Daley Plaza on Thursdays), Haute Saugsage, and the grilled cheese. All the items I have tried have been pretty good and a few of the stands also have their own food trucks that you probably have seen around the city. Today I tried the Haute Sausage vendor and got the Bacon Gucamole Sausage. Delicious! Not sure what type of bun that came on, but it was tasty. This is the perfect place to get away from the office grind at lunch time and relax and enjoy good music.
