I purchased a no-chip mani and express pedi on Lifebooker, and noticed the expiration date for the promo was on the day I would be traveling back from Europe(mid-January). So I made an appointment for two days prior to leaving for my trip, hoping for nails that would last the duration of my trip. My appointment was yesterday at 12:30. I show up at 12:15, and the door to the suite was locked. I’ve never been in this building before, so I called the contact number to see if I was in the wrong location. Straight to voicemail. I leave a voicemail to let them know I had a 12:30 appointment, my name, and how I am able to get in. No response. I call again at 12:30. Straight to voicemail. Basically I waited around until 12:50, after I kept getting the voicemail and not receiving a phone call from the business. Can’t say I’ve had this happen before, so I’m pretty confused as to what happened. Looking at the generally positive reviews on here(though few), it doesn’t seem to be a regular occurrence. Maybe I just drew the short straw, but it’s pretty unacceptable as I was depending on this appointment in anticipation of my international trip. I’ve asked Lifebooker for a refund, so hopefully that will be issued soon with no problem. Hoping you all have better luck than I did! Unless I receive an explanation, I will never come to this place or recommend it to anyone.

I had a groupon. I think that the person who provided the services was very nice. I got a no chip manicure and a express pedicure. I was very excited and they had a large selection of colors. However the manicure was very sloppy and took the personnel way too long after so many attempts to correct the mistakes I was tired and just went with it. Some of the corners are not complete, uneven color tone of polish across the nail, it chipped in two days, etc. I know that there are several nice places where the quality and customer service are nice. I will stick with what I know next time.

I had the pleasure of booking a service with Meaha through the Lifebooker deal as well. It was close to my house and a great price. To my surprise, they can also make house calls! Being a busy professional I thought this was too good to be true. However, Meaha showed up with nail polish and equipment in hand! Meaha is extremely personable and professional. I can’t speak enough about how satisfied I am with her and thw quality of her service! Thank you Meaha

This review is long overdue. I, too purchased a no-chip mani(2) from lifebooker for $ 19 the best price by far. I figured could not be all bad since the shop in located on Oak street(location, location, location) Easy brezzy on line scheduling. Meaha is friendly and über professional which made for a very relaxing experience. I was even given sparkling wine. :) I impulsively, decided I wanted a pedi polish change.(my OCD kicked in — need everything to match) which pushed her behind by 10 minutes. It was then I witnessed amazing customer service with her next client… she offered them free service since SHE couldn’t start their services on time(because of me) WOW! I have since gone back and service was just as great!(except no sparking wine, lol) And I she will become my permanent nail tech. And to add my 2cents in to Stephanie L, Really? I think you should have given her a chance before your review. The place flooded and you were notified. You were not the only one affected. And unless you are 82 years old, everyone has text messaging.

I got a lifebooker deal for a mani pedi. Was super convenient booking through their website… They even have a special menu that lets you book specifically with a lifebooker voucher. The service itself was awesome. Meaha was super nice and friendly and accommodating and actually let me do a no chip mani plus toe nail change because I just got a pedicure. She helped me pick out a great color and was super detail oriented. The nails came out beautifully… Will definitely be back…

So I bought a lifebooker on for a no chip mani for $ 17. I figured what the heck… its close and its cheap. I made easy reservations online via styleseat about 2 weeks in advance because I had a big day coming up. I was surprised that they have hours from 9A-8P. Kind of unheard of with a nail salon. Well it was too good to be true. I received a text at 730A on Wed that the salon was flooded and we would have to reschedule for my apptmt on Thurs at 9A. Hmmmm. What if I didnt have text messaging? They should have called. Moreoever, it just seems weird to me. Overall, I think I am going to contact lifebooker and get a refund. I dont think this place will be very good based on my experience so far and for some reason, I think that its associated with the Spa on Oak, which is horrible.
