I have been going to Emon since shortly after I did my big chop in April 2014. Under her guidance I’ve grown out 8.5 inches of healthy, shiny natural hair in under 2 years! We discuss my hair goals almost every time I come in, and she examines my strands and always gives it to me straight if they’re not in the condition they should be in. My hair feels soft and smooth after her deep conditioning treatments and the products she uses are a dream. Her space is peaceful and she is incredibly sweet. I am so happy with her!

Emon is hands down the best stylist for natural hair care there is. She is very knowledgeable and patient and her work spells pure perfection. She did a set of Senegalese twists for me, and they came out absolutely amazing. Her service is fast, efficient, and spot on. I love my twists.
The best thing about Emon is that she has a warm, inviting soul, and she is more than willing to conversate and share her vast amount of knowledge.

So, I give great ratings to places never. Not almost never, never. But Emon is AMAZING! I’ve struggled with my natural hair for years, but Emon has taken me on a journey that has brought me to a place of ultimate happiness with my hair. With Emon, I feel supported, I feel at peace and I leave looking fly! What more can you ask for in a stylist? Part of me doesn’t even want to write this review because I don’t want a ton of natural haired girls running over to Emon and taking a whole bunch of spots up on her calendar so I have to wait weeks to get an appointment, but at the same time, I know how HARD it is to find a natural hair stylist in this city who makes you appreciate this incredible journey. Emon inspired me to loc my hair, which I’m completely happy about, but she can do it all. She’s amazing, and creative. And, she needs you to have a vision for your hair. She wants to cultivate that vision. Check her out. I know you won’t be disappointed.

Emon Fowler/​Sarah Bellum Natural Hair Suite has made my natural hair transition a dream. Upon meeting Emon she asked me «What is your vision for your hair». I didn’t have an answer at the time and at times I still don’t, but Emon is a true artist and an expert with natural styles. I can honestly say that each and every time I leave there — I love the vision of my hair!
