Went by today, July 13th, at around 11:20 AM. They had a sign up that said they were closing and selling all of their furniture, and the restaurant itself was closed. Unfortunately, I do not think our friends at Taqueria Las Brasas are going to be around in a couple weeks, if they’re even still open now.

Since we’ve been going to this place consistently for over 6 months since it opened, it deserves a fresh review. My wife and I have tried a bunch of different tacos and burritos. Everything is always freshly made to order with quality ingredients. It might take 10 – 15 minutes to get your food, but its worth it. El Pastor and arrachera are my favorite. Big burritos for the price. Yummy!

This place was brand new after living in Logan for about 2 years. Finally just tried it last night and it was very delicious and flavorful. Its definitely just right for the price. Got the steak burrito and it was well made. Beans and rice and just enough meat not like other places that skimp out. Other then that its tasted great full of flavor in every bite. Will def. go back to this place. Hope they can survive in this economic crap. Good luck see you soon!

Good sized burrito for a good price. I’ve been there 3 times and it has been very consistent. The food is always fresh, the service is always good, and the restaurant is always clean.
They serve breakfast and have an espresso machine. The menu isn’t extensive but everything I’ve tried has been excellent. They have a television in the corner and usually have traditional Mexican music playing (not polka though).

so i’ve never been in here… My boyfriend brought me chicken and veggie tacos yesterday. When he said chicken tacos I cringed. Chicken tacos are almost always gross to me.

Wow just what Logan Square needed another taco joint but wait what is this taco with flavor spice and cooked fresh. We ordered two chicken which were OK, two steak which were very good, and two chorizo which were also good but is chorizo ever bad?
There are probably only 4 tables or so but the place is very bright and cheery. Since I only live two blocks away we will definitely be back to try it again.
The one negative was that the salsas on the side for the tacos need to be spicier. Too mild for my tastes.
