Good café with solid homemade food. I came in here for a lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the food at this Cuban and Puerto Rican café. I ordered a fried egg with bacon a steak sandwich and a milk coffee. I liked that the egg was not fried completely through with yolk only half solid. It came with great toast and a bacon that didn’t a typical American flavor to it. I liked the steak sandwich that had a great fried onion flavor to it. Word of warning — steak was tough and gave me a great workout. Milk coffee was great — just a way I like it which is mostly milk with a some coffee flavor :). It was not overly sweet though. I would recommend this place that has a Latin character to its décor. Staff is friendly although not necessarily a haute cuisine restaurant caliber but you can’t expect that for the price — on average $ 10. Alex’s Yum Scale: 1 star — terrible, 3 stars — OK, 4 stars — good, 5 stars — excellent My rating — 3.5 stars *I think 5 star rating is overused and should be reserved for exceptional restaurants. 3 stars to me is a restaurant where I would eat again.

Good Latino food for a good price. We ordered Cubano Pollo, Cubano Sandwich, Steak(Bistec) Sandwich and a Ham Croqueta Sandwich. Everyone was happy with their order. Very«homey» environment and service. 5TV’s, so we were able to watch the football game.
