Mediocre Food… Nothing Special. Just a typical hamburger joint. Try the Italian Sausage/Beef Combo on French Bread. You won’t be dissapointed.

I drive back to the«old neighborhood», monthly, for this tasty treat! Their cheeseburgers with chili and a large curly fry(you now have to ask specifically for) can only be topped by enjoying them with a milkshake! You wont be disappointed!

This place used to be called the more appropriate«Pete’s Custard Corner», and has been at the corner of 51st& Campbell since before my parents moved on that block 33 years ago. I grew up on this food. Its Greek-owned and offers gyros, but they specialize in burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Their prices used to be a steal, although in recent years the economy has forced them to be on the same level as fast food chains. I don’t eat beef anymore, but I used to(don’t like the taste). However, Pete’s burgers were one of the last things I’d eat with beef in it. The hamburger patties are super thin, and they’ll add chilli as a topping if you ask. Now I usually get the chicken pita or chicken patty — both good. Now their fries. For years they had the BEST curly fries around, but they discontinued it a while ago. However last year they introduced them again ONLY on Saturdays — better than nothing! The regular cut fries are still good and thick. Their milkshakes are really good and they always complete my meal. If you’re in the neighborhood, this is the place to get your burger & fries(and milkshake).
