Subway

The food is always fresh and put together well. Service is prompt and served with a smile. It’s always clean and fresh. This is one of my favorite locations of subway.

It’s Subway, nothing special. But it’s cheap and you know what you’re getting.
This one for some reason has trouble heating up my sandwiches all the way (i.e. ovenroasted chicken) so, I ask for them to hold it in the micro-​oven a little longer now.
I’d probably go to a different one, but it’s the closes one to my office, so whatever.
Bottom line, it’s clean and tastes the same as every other subway in America, but don’t seek it out.

Great quick lunch option. Can usually get in and out with minimal waiting. The counter help can be ditsy at times and there’s occasional confusion when ringing up your order, but overall I give it a ‘thumbs up’.

My bladder was about to burst, no one has public restroom in the loop, what’s a girl to do? Get a cookie. Got a cookie and a chance to use a decent restroom. Thank you so much!

Rude, rude, rude. That’s what the staff at this Subway is, particularly the older lady who appears to be an owner/​manager. This Subway was the very first one I ever visited that charged $ 2.69 for the daily special (and that was more than two years ago; other Subways have only begun charging the higher rate within the last 6 – 12 months). I understand this Subway is located in the Loop, and therefore perhaps its operating costs are a tad higher. I get it. But do they have to be so damned rude about it?
They’re very miserly with the fixin’s, too – yet another cost-​saving move? Who knows? What I do know is, this Subway sucks. Avoid it at all costs. There are enough Subway franchises in just the few blocks around this one that avoiding it really isn’t that hard. They suck.

it’s fast, it’s healthy, they now have apples and raisins for sides, and it fills the void.
i like to get the daily special – with a drink and side it’s under $ 5. my preference is turkey or chicken breast sandwiches – and extra hot peppers!
don’t like the subs toasted though – why would they mess with a good thing?

I just can’t do it anymore, as cheap as it may be. I want to kick myself each time I go back. The bread tastes like paper towel– that’s what I remind myself when I am tempted to return…
