This Pret is great! I go there all the time for coffee during work. Today one of the staff, Dante, recognized us and gave us our coffees for free. So nice!

This is a great place to get a sandwich if you are short on time. The people are friendly, the food is always ready and the wait to pay is almost nonexistent. You could be in and out with a solid lunch in less than a minute. Their lunches are a little pricey. Most of the sandwiches here will run you over $ 8. There is a Potbelly’s almost across the street where you will pay almost half that. The quality is undoubtedly better. Try the falafel with red pepper hot wrap but stay away from the pastas.

Well I just found a bug in my salad(looks like a green ladybug, it has spots and everything). I called to speak with the manager, but no one answered the phone. Needless to say, I will not be eating here again.

Good ham and cheese sub made with nice crusty baguette. But $ 7 seems high for a skinny sandwiche without sauce.

Yet another place I’m suckered into. I visited for breakfast today, and enjoyed it! Everything from the organic coffee to the bacon and egg sandwich was fresh! I’m pretty particular about my breakfast foods so I was a little leery buying a sandwich from here. I also tried their double chocolate croissant after a coworker raved relentlessly about their almond butter croissant. Both desserts were great pick-me-ups for a midday snack. Not too sweet, but just sweet enough. Needless to say, I would go back but this time for a heavier entrée for lunch/dinner.

I will keep this brief– This was my go-to lunch place as it is very close to my office… until I found a live critter crawl out of my Maine Lobster salad. Sorry Pret, I didn’t want that extra protein.

Stop by every once in awhile for breakfast or lunch. For breakfast I usually get a coffee and/or croissant. I’ve seen breakfast sandwiches with egg and bacon/sausage and oatmeal. Coffee is pretty good. Lunch offers more food options from sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups. Every once in awhile they introduce new menu items like the new salad with lobster and avocado. They also have a ton of small snacks ranging from fruit, nuts, bars and sweets. Every time I visit I can count on fresh consistent food choices and more importantly friendly service. This location gets pretty busy in the AM and PM. At the same time, I’ve never seen this location in bad shape. It is always stocked and cleaned.

I forgot my lunch today and went to Pret a Manger next door, because I knew they had low calorie, healthy salads and wraps. I found a sandwich that looked really good, but I couldn’t have the bread that it came on. I asked the manager if he could make it into a wrap. He said no, that they weren’t allowed to change recipes. I asked if he could give me a tortilla so I could do it myself. He said no. I asked if he could sell me a tortilla. He said no. He said he could lose his job if he changed anything. So he let me leave to go buy my lunch somewhere else, instead of making one small change so I could have a lunch that fit into my dietary restrictions. Don’t know that I want to go back there now.

I so wish I could give half stars. This place is about a 2.5. It’s very close to my office and I’ve stopped in a number of times for something to drink or an afternoon crunchy snack. Today I stopped in for lunch. I got a veggie sandwich with avocado. I wasn’t blown away. The bread was probably less then Pepperidge Farm quality and there really wasn’t much flavor to the somewhat skimpy fillings. I know a veggie sandwich can be flavorful and piled high with goodness, but this one just wasn’t. I still like the place for that afternoon crunchy snack because it’s super convenient and the people who work there are always so pleasant. I just think I’ll pass on the sandwich.

Was downtown with my friend and our two babies so we stopped in for some lunch. We asked if they had high chairs, just curious, no big deal, but were told they did not. Okay no worries the babes would stay in the stroller. We went to sit down to eat and the manager came up with fresh baked cookies for the«kids» aka the moms :) to apologize for not having high chairs. Their service was above and beyond which was greatly appreciated, not to mention their fresh and fast food was delicious. At the end of every day the unused food gets donated, that’s a pretty epic concept. Right on Pret a Manger, right on.

I really wish there were Pret A Manger’s in California! I love love love their food and drinks. I don’t remember which sandwiches and wraps I’ve tried but the most recent and most memorable one is the hoisin duck salad wrap. Everything tastes super fresh and they definitely don’t skimp on the meat! I also love their sodas! I think my favorites are the pure pret orange and the pure pret grape and elderflower. I only get to go to Pret when I’m on vacation so I didn’t get to try their soups and hot foods but want to try those eventually!

I’ve been a Pret fan since living in London nearly 15 years ago, and frequent this location because it’s a hop and a skip out of my office door. Sandwiches, soups, and salads are always fresh and inventive. The problem? Value seems to have diminished overtime. Pret is able to charge a premium thanks to the convenience it offers patrons, but I’ve noticed that sandwich and salad fillings have gotten slimmer and smaller, which is disappointing. Even still, try the wraps. The falafel and salmon are my favs, and are just enough to get you through to dinner time.

There service here is awesome and the food is always tasty and fresh. I’m a big fan of their soups and breakfast baguettes. Sandwiches were okay but nothing I’m raving about. I’ll have to try a salad one day — they look delicious.

Was so excited when this place opened in the States, hoping it would be a reminder of quick airport meals in Europe. Sadly, the foreign airports have tastier sandwiches than this one, plus there’s something about overpaying in airports that’s okay, and not quite as alright in Chicago. A tuna baguette sandwich with cucumber, a bag of chips and an iced tea for almost $ 11 is a bit steep.

I wanted to eat some soup and feel souper as advertised. I went in and bought a regular chipotle black bean soup. The description sounded like the perfect, flavorful and fulfilling soup. Got back to my desk. Not really a soup. More like a purée. Very few actual beans present. Oh, I almost forgot. I wanted it to taste like something and have some texture, so I put some fritos in there. I then had black purée that sometimes had the taste and crunch of fritos if dug them out with my spoon. After 3 really unsatisfying bites, I tossed it. UPDATE. I had to get the bowl out of my desk trash because its fragrance was disturbing to others. Upon inspection, I found that perhaps the texture of the soup was more a result of over cooking under the warmer in the store than just a complete and utter failure. I do remember the bowl being particularly warm when I picked it up. Why it is completely deficient in flavor I can not explain.

Good & fresh but a bit overpriced for being a store that sells a bunch of pre-packed sandwiches.

I love this place because it is convenient, fresh & delicious food, in healthy portions for a fair price. This is a place I frequent for lunch when I do not care to blow all of my day’s calories on a workday lunch. I have had several sandwiches, chili, soups, the coffee… everything is tasty and I am never disappointed. The lines at lunch move quickly and people are friendly. I’m a big fan for what it is – healthy fast food. If you want cheap unhealthy food – go to McDonalds; if you want a fancy sit down lunch, go someplace else. But if you are looking for the healthy, tasty lunch that you should have packed the night before and brought to work but were too lazy and you don’t want to blow your diet, then stop at Pret A Manger

Value for $. Service is always nice, pleasant and friendly. Remodeled space is warm and comfortable. The new door accommodates the in/out crowd that picks up quick meals.
