I live not far from here but would rather make the trip to the second nearest location just to avoid the employees that work here. No respect for the customers. For starters, they suddenly decide to clean when its crowded and are not polite enough to ask you to move when theyre sweeping/mopping, they just treat you like a piece of furniture and sweep right at your feet with no consideration for your shoes. I guess they figure«hey what the hell, i hate my job and theyre here to wash clothes anyway so whatever» Second the solicitation is absurd. Everytime im sitting waiting for my clothes to wash or dry I dont need someone to walk over and offer me bootleg dvds. Once is enough but usually the guys will walk around the place a few times and forget they already asked you twice and got denied, and the employees? Just stand to side not saying a word to solicitators annoying the customers, or just sit at the table by the big windows having their 10th lunch of the day… its rather embarrasing and unproffessional. On top of that they just stare at you like your an animal. I know i get mean stares because once i overheard them making rude remarks about my hair/looks in spanish, not knowing i speak it fluently, i was furious but kept my mouth shut, just smiled and walked away. I know i will not be returning here on account of these things. Visit coin laundry down the street on kedzie and 51st, they maintain a better business and the only solicitaion is from the guy out front selling hot tamales and champurrado which is rather pleasent in this cold weather. To Paul… I find your inability to discredit those who see the flaws in your business laughable. You seem to be a very hands off kind of manager, instead of taking critisism to heart, try to better your establishment. Your attempt to challenge my credibility is welcome, but the reviewers must know how you run your business to the ground. You are extremely rude and unprofessional yourself, now i see why the employees conduct themselves in the same ungrateful manner. If you cry about how people are supposedly conspiring against you, it really shows what kind of person you are. Im actually quite astonished that you replied in english knowing that none of your employees bother to speak it. I dont know if theyre just pretending or truly dont know a lick of english but trust me, its hurting your business. And yes my review is true, every single word and you are not bettering your situation. Instead of kicking out frequent customers that actually spent money there to give you a check, kick out those solicitors. Ive never seen you there so how can you pretend that everything is running smoothly? Stop blinding people from the truth, just accept it and try to better your situation. Belive me when i say your doing a lot more damage to your own business by consistently challengeing your reviewers everytime they slap you in the face with the truth. You can read and ponder upon my other reviews looking for something in hopes of taking away from my credibility but you’ll find that im not one to shy away from the truth. And another word of advice, don’t like harsh critiques? Then kindly remove yourself from Unilocal and the neighborhood. And if you decide to keep fighting every review you dont like, try changing for the better, maybe treat your employees with a raise so they dont half ass their job. Now good day to you rude sir, i know your in desperate need of one.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Very rude staff. I use this laundry service occasionally during weekday nights but sometimes on the weekends I go in to get some quarters and this one lady with super curly hair, a lil older, always runs up to me speaking very fast in spanish aggressively trying to tell me i can’t use quarters here. I tell her I know pull out my laundry card I’m just exchanging for quarters and that I don’t speak Spanish. and she rolled her eyes and kept going speaking very fast. even after I tell her she won’t let up. I feel like I’m being harassed everytime I go in. It’s happened like 6 times now, once we had to get someone else involved and the guy barley even spoke English and told me it’s broken. I told him” no its not. What are the rules exactly? Am I not allowed to exchange money for quarters here? «They conversed in Spanish agian so I said u know what give me the owners/manager business card I will call and ask him. He then said okay go ahead and use it and couldn’t even tell me if they had specific rules. They need to be able to communicate with all their customers. Now I just send my husband in for me if I can’t make it to the bank during the week. And they never say anything to him. Very upset with the service and racial profiling I put up with.@ Paul if you Read my review you’d know I am a customer. It’s the same lady all the time and even tho I tell her I don’t speak the language she keeps talking faster and faster. And how is the quarter machine something for customers when the machines doesn’t even take quarters. U guys don’t loose money on that. Now Paul is lying omg seriously don’t come to this laundry mat. How did anyone communicate to me the rules when I don’t speak the language? And how did I insult anyone when those employees claim not to speak english? So funny. All my friends and family will know just how unproffesional Paul and his employees are. Rule number 1 customer which I am is always right.

You need a ride to do your laundry? They’ll pick you up. Don’t have time to do laundry? They’ll do it for you. You completely forgot that you’re wearing your last pair a socks and it’s 3 am. They’re open 24⁄7. So many scenarios and they are there for you(laundry needs only). The best part they have several locations. I always feel comfortable when I call for pick up service. My only concern(and only reason why it’s not a 5 star) you never know what time they’ll return your close back to you once you turn it in. There’s been times where they quote a certain time and I waited 2 – 3 hours more. Knowing this I know to ask for the service during my day off and not when it’s a workday. Overall great place for your laundry needs.

I haven’t been to a laundromat in years so I was dreading the task. But Su Nueva Lavanderia was a great place to go. I was trying to avoid a crowd, so I went Saturday morning around 6:30 a.m. People were starting to come in but there are plenty of machines and free dry! I also liked using the laundry card(accepts debit and credit cards) instead of quarters. Hopefully my landlord will fix our machines soon. But if not, this is the place to go.

Great place to do laundry at. Clean area, friendly staff. I usually go late nights, yes! Its open late. My family goes to this place. Another great thing about it… is that you don’t have to carry all the loose change. Just slide your card in and use tp wash. Also, FREEDRY!

Nestled between West Elsdon and Gage Park, this laundromat is a golden nugget. During the winter, we had our water pipes burst and our boiler kept failing on us to heat up the water. I was dreading going to the laundromat but I had no choice. I hauled my dirty clothes and got my butt to go to do laundry on a Thursday night at 2am. When I got the laundromat, the place was squeaky clean and not too busy. Just how I wanted. What was even better was that I didn’t have to dig up any loose change or get cash, I used my debit card. At first, I was hesitant. I had a right to be. You have to pay a machine and it produces a keycard to reload. It’s also a good way keep your bucks for laundry on hand and the only way to dry by swiping the card. To my dismay, the machine wouldn’t read my card. I talked to the gentleman to help me out. He was able to access the time stamp and the amount to fix the keycard. He was so cool he actually helped out with getting an extra bag for my clothes. The machines themselves are priced reasonably for the massive about of clothes I had. They range from $ 4 small loads to $ 9 for the large loads. If you don’t wash or run out of dry credits, they charge ten cents for ten minutes of drying time. It’s not bad compared to the twenty cents they charge at the laundromat on Kedzie and 51st. I’ve come on Saturdays and Thursdays during the morning — if you wondered about the late night shift I pulled here. It gets packed but you find space to wash, dry and fold your stuff. It’s a great and affordable place. It’s the cleanest place I’ve gone to. I definitely recommend it for people that are budgeting.

Su Lavandería, the only laundromat I’ll go to… You can go at any time, day or night, and know that you’ll have a clean place to wash your clothes. I love the pick up and drop off service here, sometimes I don’t have time to hang around and it’s nice to have that option. I had a machine eat money off of my card at 3 am and the gal was super about it. They actually have a really high tech system with their cards to fight fraud. They track all of your purchases and can narrow down which machine took your money and when. Never seen that before haha A few machines are out on occasion but there’s plenty more to go around. Free dry!!!

I like going here because its very close to my place. The machines are big and prices are decent. If you go at night really late, you can avoid the kids bumping into you, which can be annoying. Why can’t parents watch after their kids, seriously?
