I really want to like this Starbucks, and I do come here often. It’s the only remaining café in the area, after both LaVazza and Caribou closed their local stores. If you want coffee in the vicinity of Ogilvie, this is pretty much it. PROS: 1. Location, location, location 2. Line moves quicker than some other Starbucks 3. There are still a few comfy chairs at this location, if you can snag one CONS: 1. Staff at this location often appear confused when asked to do anything beyond pouring coffee. Ordering food, cashing in a coupon, and other extra tasks end up being too complicated for them. 2. Too many people use this Starbucks for their business meetings. Makes it unpleasant to take my afternoon coffee break here. 3. The comfy chairs are often monopolized by insecure business jerks talking loudly on their cellphone. Come here if you have to, but don’t stay if you intend to relax.

The cookies look great but they actually taste pretty awful, tossed half of it in the trash… coffee is so so, they put more espresso at Caribou

Starbucks is Starbucks. Not a whole lot of difference between stores other than size and service. This is a medium sized store with plents of places to study, read, chat, sleep, etc. But more importantly this is a store with a lot of really nice employees. The Starbucks barristas here are super friendly. They all have smiles, they make an effort to remember your name and drink if you are a regular, and i have even seen them run outside to help people after witnessing a car accident. I don’t love your coffee or food Starbucks, but you do have great employees.

Lovin’ the free wifi Starbucks. It’s obvious though with your insane jazz selection that you don’t want anyone to get too comfortable.
