Starbucks

They moved this location from the Addison spot to the old sports bar on Sheffield that also used to be a Halloween store before this Starbucks opened in its place and although I wish they just would’ve kept the halloween store open year round I guess this is cool too. my coffee was real hot though so be careful maybe next time put some ice cubes in there ha ha anyways good place

No offence but why would you make this new starbucks so much bigger to bring in more people but only have like 2 people
Working? really doesnt make any sense especially in the mornings when more people stop by on their way to work, or during cubs games. id rather go to the one on north/​clybourne stop on my way to work instead. Not recommended if youre in a rush /​on your way to work

Cool atmosphere and looks like it will be efficient for Cubs crowds. Internet connection is terrible — I think they underestimated the amount of people that will come in to study on off Cubs game days.

Pretty disappointed in the experience I just had. (January 16^th at about 1:30pm) this is my local Starbucks– I work in Wrigley so I know what customer service is all about. After the barista made my drink– I simply asked for an ice water and I quote «whenever you get a chance». He then replied with «get it at the register next time» very rudely. Pretty disappointing seeing as I love this staff usually and come here everyday before work during the Cubs season. Didn’t catch his name– but let’s just say he was a grumpy young guy with a full dark beard and brown hair who I’ve actually never even seen before. Sorry that my water (which you purposefully filled half way) was a total inconvenience to your day and got in the way of the two people that were in line at the register. I’ve seen y’all 20 times busier then this and 20 times happier. Cheers to my first Unilocal review! Someone buy that bro a drink!

Great location– not sure why I’m seeing some 3 star reviews? I eat here every week– fast service with a smile is quite typical of my experience at this location.

Excellent service. It was a cold, blustery day after checking out Wrigley Field, and I stopped in for a hot peppermint cocoa. The drink got cold and I asked the staff if they could nuke it in the micro for a few minutes. The manager said no way, he would just make me a new one. I wasn’t expecting that and usually I don’t Unilocal review Starbucks since there are so many but this stood out to me as going the extra mile with customers. Thank you Starbucks on Addison!

Easy in and out (when there’s no game). What you’d expect from a Starbucks. Clean environment, food was up to standard and restaurant was clean.

The staff is nice and friendly. So why only 2 stars? They don’t have cold brew available until after 9 AM. Seriously, why make it available after everyone is already at work?

Every time I’ve been to this location I’ve had pleasant service, the washroom has been clean and it’s never as crowded as I’d expect being directly across from Wrigley Field. The staff seems to work together well and are always aware of the deals Starbucks is offering when I present my app for discounts and payment. My pastries are also perfectly warmed, never too hot so I can dig right in.

Out of carmel brulle for the season. Yet still on the chalkboard. This isnt the only starbucks that neglects to take things down when offer is over. Its so annoying. Like having something in your fridge but its empty and cant buy more.

I have visited this Starbucks many times. It is the only Starbucks on the northside that has very easy parking and usually isn’t overly crowded. I go here to study. Today, I get to the parking lot and am greeted by a parking attendant. The attendant demand that I pay for parking and that I could not stay more than a few hours or he would tow my car. Note-​there is a sign on the outside of Starbucks that says «Starbucks customers can park here when they stay on premises». It is early November and obviously there are no events going on. I went inside to discuss this with the manager, who goes on to say there is nothing she can do and basically laughs at me. She was not helpful at all. Needless to say, I will not return. What happened to businesses actually wanting business? Take your Starbucks craving somewhere else!

Really unique location & vibe. Employees were helpful in getting my iced coffee fast!

Hair in my coffee. Not 1, but two hairs. One I saw as I was pouring sugar into my coffee, so I though ok well it happens, no biggie. The other one I pulled out of my mouth. Definitely not my hair, nor the girl who served me. What are your employees doing to the coffee Starbucks? Definitely never going back.

It is always a good sign when they get your drinks correct! And have a big, friendly smile on their face. Not to mention, they have a parking lot! Now if only we could get a drive thru *hint, hint*.

Still not my favorite coffee place, but the guys who work here are just super duper. Just chatting with them and joking around made my evening. Good customer service just makes me so happy.

Super-​friendly staff. Always a spot at the counter. And they keep a water dish and container of dog treats by the front door.

My girlfriend and I stopped in here after a tour of Wrigley Field. I suppose you can say we were playing it safe not to hit the bars just yet as we’d be drinking at every stop after this and I had had a beer before we even started the tour.
Quick, friendly service. Warm inviting atmosphere and clean restrooms.
We sat down for a minute as we are from LA and I wasn’t sure I could handle holding or drinking my iced latte outdoors in 30 degree weather.
Fine spot to grab a quick coffee — didn’t have time to research any other coffee houses and this is steps from the red line.
They served their purpose on our one coffee one (or two) alcoholic beverage agenda as the day went on :)

This location is pretty much the best location of Starbucks I’ve been to– and that’s including the ones back home, which should have a better reputation because of the «aloha spirit.» In any case, this is the nicest location of Starbucks I’ve been to, and it’s only a block or two from my apartment. The location is tops (right across Wrigley Field), and the baristas are so friendly and sweet!
They never complain that I stay here for way too long because I don’t have internet at my house yet… and they’re consistently nice. Also, sometimes the baristas will feel nice and give me discounted drinks (or free… Whoops.)
Maybe it’s just me, but the baristas here are friendly and worth coming back for. Plus, it’s clean and they’re always trying to think of new ways to improve their service and location. So much love for this location of Starbucks.

So, I really can’t say anything bad about Starbucks… strong coffee, efficient and polite service, clean space, consistent product.
