Starbucks

Oh gosh, how is it that I have worked here in the area for so many years and didn’t know this was a hidden Starbucks inside the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center? Seriously I should be put away and slapped hard! WOW! I had to go inside for some cash at the CHASE ATM and noticed the Sea Mermaid Logo and said to myself «NNNNOOOOOOOO waYYYYYY»! What! Are you kidding me? There she was, a small kiosk section of the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center with all her glory looking at me like, come get a coffee. Hello, I jumped so fast you would swear I was a virgin waiting in line for an all male prison play! Oh the joy of now knowing I could get a Starbucks at 7 AM and have a great day right away vs. waiting! Although they really can’t create my usual Burnt Marshmallow Macchiato (Order a Doppio or Solo Espresso Macchiato, add 2 pumps of white mocha sauce and add caramel drizzle) because I think it made the barista a little nervous that someone was actually asking for an original drink vs. on the beaten path of the sign. But I digress, a regular Venti coffee of the day will suffice (for now). But stop playing with me I will return and have my list of original drinks so that they can be awesome like most Starbuck’s in Chicago. They don’t have tons of selections as most other SB’s have, but that’s okay since I am just happy to get a sip of a real SB’s vs. just «sipping» others. This is a plus for sure and I know now that more and more people will be ordering from this location. Kudos! I asked the young lady how long they have been there and she said they have been at this location for a while. Don’t know what that exactly means but hey its a Starbucks! So come by and order, but have a seat in their mini dining room.
