I went to a party a few weekend ago at Galvin’s, and Sonic Lizard was running the karaōke show. They had a really great selection of tunes, and kept the rotation flowing. I particularly liked that they ensured everyone had a chance. This was difficult for me, since I think I’m some kind of karaōke star but, after all, fair is fair. It was a really fun party and everyone had a great time showing off their performance skills. From what I understand, this team (I’m assuming husband and wife?) has regular gigs throughout the city (and possibly the burbs?). I remember the guy telling me they do Tuesdays at Purple Haze so maybe I’ll have to check them out!
