Last stop before my flight. Bartender was friendly and honest about their selections she made me a great martini in my plastic cup. They have a full bar selection, tv, snacks available. It’s the last place to stop in terminal 2. It’s better then Chilies so you might as well stay!

This is a great little spot, considering they have a captive audience. The food is hot, fresh and quick, which is usually about the best you can ask for at an airport. Despite all the other reviews raving about the gyros, I went out on a limb and got the hot dog(Chicago style, of course). As much as I love a great gyro, I was afraid the onions that I always enjoy with it would be a bad choice for my work meeting a few hours later… The dog was okay. It filled my belly. The Vienna Beef link tasted a little bland and had no snap, like it had been boiled. The bread was a smidge soggy and there were no peppers on it(what!!!)… But I’ve definitely had worse dogs than this one. To my surprise, it came with a heaping portion of fresh-from-the-cooker fries. I got all of that plus a drink for $ 8 and some change — definitely a bargain for the airport. Totally unrelated to my food, but probably my favorite part of the experience was hearing the cook at the pick-up window call out people’s food when it was ready… For you classic SNL fans, I’m talking about the«Cheeseburger, Pepsi» sketch… He could totally be the inspiration for it if he was doing this job 40 years ago…

Sky Bridge Restaurant is located in Terminal 2, Concourse F, near Gate F15, of Chicago O’Hare International Airport. Had lunch in Sky Bridge one afternoon while waiting for my flight to Traverse City. Got the Caesar salad with Gyro meat added to it. Never had a Caesar with Gyro meat before! They put a lot of Gyro meat on the salad — more than I was expecting! Overall, it was pretty good for a pre-made Caesar with Gyro meat tossed on. I could not eat the whole thing! I was stuffed! There is also a small bar in here with a couple of TVs.

O’Hare plus United resulted in me banging on the door of the terminal right after it closed and I watched the plane fuel and load up and take off without me. I wandered around terminal 2 here and this seemed to be an inviting place to stop. Prices are within reason of airplane food and it is fresh off the grill. Gyro platter meat is a bit dry but you get a lot of food to make your own gyro then eat the French fries and sizeable salad as well. Service was fast. I will look for this place again if I am stuck here

As far as airport food goes(and in the past week we’ve been at MSO, DIA, ORF and now ORD) this is BYFAR the best tasting food we’ve had. Huge portions, fast and friendly service. The gyro meat is succulent and seasoned perfectly. Thumbs up! Only very few to see tables, crowded… but right next to a little bar so this gyro platter is going down with a spicy Bloody Mary and all is well on this layover.

Probably the best of Terminal 2(united)! I tried a Denver Omelet with cheese and it was very much worth it. The size was humongous and the side of red potatoes was well done, soft and flavorful. For less than $ 10, you can get really full. The seating is a bit limited though, it seems a lot of travelers and crew members hit this spot quite often. Good news — There is a sleek spot for 3 just in a corner across the bar. Most didn’t seem to notice this spot. I spent reading and eating for 1.5 hours, in this otherwise busy restaurant.

For airport food, this is good. I was in between flights on the opposite side of the airport(gate H15) and asked an employee where the best burger and bloody marys were served… he didn’t hesitate and told me «Bridges». It was quite a trek, but worth it. Under 20 $ with tip and I couldn’t finish it. Next time I am here; I will come back.

Forget that hotdog place. Skybridge serves a great Vienna beef hot dog, Chicago-style. Mustard, relish, thick slices of tomato, onion and a full pickle spear. A taste of Chicago between flights. My husband had a tasty gyro sandwich that reminded him of that place on St. Viateur Street in Montréal, but he was impressed with the fixings on the hot dog. Will have to order it next time.

Of all the quick places to eat at O’hare, I always go out of my way to swing by here for the gyros. Don’t be discouraged if it’s crowded – that’s when the gyros are the best – freshly shaved off the cone. The platter is just a few bucks more but you get twice the food. Make a gyro with the meat, pita and toppings and then eat the rest like a salad. Love it…

As someone else mentioned, a good sign is to see a bunch of flight crews eating here. At least a third of the customers are flight crews. They have real food made fresh while you wait. I had a cheese omelette with potatoes and toast. I was shocked to taste real, fresh potatoes. They were not the frozen mass produced things many restaurants now try to pass off as potatoes. To top things off, the prices were lower than expected for this quality of food in an airport.

Being a frequent traveler and wanting to try something new instead of the many chain restaurants found in airports, I thought I would give this place a try. I ordered a grilled cheese and french fries(little less than $ 10) going for something simple and standard that is a generally consistent item at a restaurant. When I opened my bag, the grilled cheese was wrapped in paper that was already greasy. The sandwich itself seemed to only really be grilled in the middle with the rest of the bread being butter less as well as cheese less as that was completely centered in the middle as well. The fries were pretty average, I ate a couple and threw the rest of them away. I wish I had been able to find them on Unilocal before actually ordering now that I have seen that the gyro is the item to try. All in all, when I pass through O’Hare again I will be sure to read the reviews before eating and stick to a more consistent restaurant.

I’ve grabbed a quick bite to eat here while flying out of this Terminal. So while we had a ton of time to kill(flight delayed several hours) we headed here to grab one more Chicago/Med style Gyro before we headed home to HTown. They also have great wraps. Everything comes w/fries. Quick service. Good prices. Hot food. Nothing more needs to be said.

Recommend. Indicator is a lot of airline people stopping to eat there. Solid gyro platter. Prices and quality are pretty good considering it is in an airport. Staff seemed to care and were not the typical listless and surly airport servers. In my short time there, they seemed to recognize the regulars.

With my pizza choice being a disaster, I decided to come here as the prices looked decent and it was close to my gate. I decided on a patty melt, which also came with french fries for about $ 8. Not bad. A lot of people were coming by and ordering their mediterranean wraps. Maybe I should’ve gotten that instead but too late. So I waited and waited… the cashier told me it would be a couple minutes so I went to the restroom. Came back and waited again… I asked and then they seemed annoyed with me. About 8 people that ordered after me had gotten their food before me. Eons later I received my patty melt and fries. They gave a ton of french fries, which were tasty but needed some salt. The patty melt was very tasty though and hit the spot. I couldn’t even eat half. Overall, good food for a good price, but my wait set me off about this place.

On a recent trip ate here and had to wonder what the attraction is. Staff was pretty good on the service side. And while I anticipated a fresh-tasting meal based on other reviews I was disappointed. Greasy gyro with little to really commend it. Fries were… ok. Overall, the food was hot but I didn’t finish it. I’ll be moving along to the next place on my next trip.

I finally have an opportunity to post this… This is a very decent Chicago-style food; fast too — have your money ready. That WOULD normally bring the star-rating up, but I experienced horrible customer service. I got a chicken pita(very decent) that I thought was OK to take to the bar and eat. The bartender asked if I wanted a drink, and when I asked for water, she made a public/embarrassing deal about how the seats are reserved for cocktail drinkers. It was not terribly busy, but normal table seating was limited. There were plenty of seats at the bar. I also saw other people eating their meals with water, so I didn’t see the big deal, especially since it was just about lunch time, and not really a busy happy hour time. I got a weird«ENJOY! SITWITHYOURWATER!» from the bartender. I didn’t touch it. I ate part of my meal and left. I should’ve given her a Chicago salute…

Just after noon on a Saturday, not a lot of seating, but for an airport restaurant you get a lot for your money. My gyro was fantastic, fries were fairly marginal. Food was served up fast. As a person who never travels, this was a good experience– in another 10 years when I fly again I’ll probably get another gyro at the Sky Bridge.

Yay! A free hair in our omelette b-fast before take off. It’s always nice to get a little something extra on the side. Now, even though finding a long wiry hair in your food during pre take off time at the airport isn’t the best way to start a romantic getaway, I found myself trying to look on the bright side so as to not put a damper on our date trip before it had even started. So, in the spirit of being a Positive Patty and not a Debbie Downer, I’d like to list the things I’m thankful for. A. I have to admit that pre-hair discovery, the omelettes were quite tasty. B. Thank the lawdy, lawd that the hair was a long wiry and not a short curly. If there had to be a hair, at least it was an above the deltoid one.
