Terrible customer service! I ordered at 11pm… got the pizza at 2:45am
The pizza was cold and they didn’t give us any discount!
I called in and the guy was calling me Lier when I explained that I hadn’t received my pizza and it had been 2hrs
If I could give this place 0 stars I would
Don’t order from here!!!

Couldn’t be bothered to deliver 3 miles away, but COULD be bothered to charge my card and make me wait 3 days for the charge to reverse. 4 thumbs DOWN!!!

The service I received was horrible. I called to order a delivery and a guy picked up the phone. I asked a question he didn’t know the answer to. So I asked him if there was anyone else there that might know the answer. He responded very rudely «I don’t know! No one else is here! What do you want?!» I then asked to speak with the manager and he said I’m taking to him and screamed at me what I wanted. I didn’t want to deal with this so I just hung up. I don’t know if Sarpino’s have regional or district managers, but they or HR really should read all the bad comments on here and change the owner/​management team based on all these horrible reviews. I called another Sarpino’s to order and they were very nice and apologized on Oak Park’s location behalf and the employee there was able to answer my questions.

I have moved to Oak Park and like to have a pizza place I can count on for quick hot delivery. After having several orders that were wrong or missing items, I gave up. I did write about my experiences on Unilocal.This was a couple of years ago, I think. I decided to give them another try after getting some coupons. I really hoped they would come through. I like the sauce and the fact that the veggie pizza is more than the standard three items. I have never had complaints about the delivery times. I also like that if I want to pay cash I can pay the driver at the door. Not everyone does that. I ordered and my pizza was great — exactly as I ordered and the delivery was within the promised time frame. This was a couple of months ago.
I decided to order again last night. I ordered online and paid with a credit card including a 20% tip for the delivery guy. I left instructions to ring my door bell. After an hour had passed I decided to call and discovered there was a voice mail message from the store saying the driver had tried calling me and didn’t get an answer so he left. The guy never rang the door bell. That seems to be common sense. If you are standing outside a building and you don’t get an answer on the phone, you ring the bell. Instead he just left. With the product. To bring back to the store. Whaaat??? If I were the manager I would not be happy with this.
The manager said they could re-​deliver or refund my money. Then she told me the owner had me blacklisted. I WAS BANNED FOR LIFE and if they had seen that they never would have delivered. She didn’t know why and I certainly didn’t. She said the driver would come by shortly and she would call me back to let me know exactly when he was coming.
After no phone call and waiting another hour I called the store. At this point it was over two hours since I had placed my order. The manager I had talked to said the driver was still out. I am thinking if he has pizzas he has been driving around with for about two hours people are going to be getting cold pizza. She put me on hold and another guy came on the phone. He said the owner had canceled my order saying he wasn’t going to sell to me. I had paid and it was already made and he didn’t want to sell it to me. He would rather take the loss. I don’t know what he is angry about but talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. The guy on the phone reiterated that the owner banned me. I have always been polite, given a good tip to the drivers because I know they do a thankless job and cannot have done anything I can think of except have given a bad Unilocal review in the past and called the store to let them know when my order wasn’t right. Too bad Kitchen Nightmares is no longer in existence. This owner needs a good dose of Chef Ramsey. It all goes back to the restaurant owner.

I noticed previous reviews are not as stellar as my experience so I would assume it is under new ownership or management. With that said I loved it! They have great deals and their pizza is delicious! Ingredients are fresh, the sauce is tasty and just the right amount of cheese. Makes for a great family meal with their salads. After trying pizza at other restaurants I must say they have the best tasting Pizza! Our family loves it! And their service is always what customer service should be! Try it… I’m sure you’ll love it just as much;)

This was our go to place always for late night, after midnight grub. My favorite was the focaccia sand which with vegetables. The wings are decent. I love the Mexican and other Latin themed pizzas. The food usually would come hot and ready to eat. Delivery was always on time. They weren’t usually forgetful with our items. Lots of different pizza themes so try to experience them all! I loved the chipotle sauce or jalapeño ranch dressing with the pizzas.

It’s super cheap mediocre pizza but only order if you have a long time to wait. Ordered and the original estimated time was and hour for delivery and an hour and a half later, still waiting for pizza. Bummed with the service.

The woman manager should not be in customer service at all. Took two hour for a couple calzones to get here and still never showed up. This is a horrible example of how to run a business.

My review is purely based off of the service I received, since the food was never delivered. After about an hour from making my order, I called and was notified that the delivery driver had «left fifteen minutes ago and should be there within five minutes». Called again two hours after I ordered and was told that «the order was canceled» for some reason or another. At this point, it was 3AM and, needless to say, I was pretty upset for getting the run-​around. Today I’m having to dispute the charge with my bank since the order was not actually canceled.
Incredibly poor, dishonest service. Will not be ordering from here again even if it’s the last place open on a Saturday.

Ordered a small pizza. The size of the pizza was like the frozen pizza from Aldi for $ 3. Yet, they charged me $ 18 for such a small-​small pizza. I usually buy a lot bigger pizzas in the K-​Mart & Costco for half of price of what Sarpinos charged me. Not only did they overcharged me for a small pizza, but it wasn’t even a good pizza.

If I could give this no stars I would!
The sauce was terrible it tasted like paste
The bread/​crust was tough and chewy
and the entire pizza looked almost burnt
for a first time i do not have to complain to them I just will never go back
so what I can get another bad replacement? nah
in fact this pizza is so bad its coyote ugly

Worst service crap pizza gave my mom and gf food poisoning managers won’t give money back and don’t know how to handle themselves. Disrespect full. When talking to customers and talk a different language when talking to their other peers.

I ordered from the Oak Park location becuase I had a gift card… I usually order from the La Grange location on Grub Hub.
So I had to go online to order to use a gift card. Once I received my steak sandwich it was soaked in mayo… I said extra mayo not the whole bottle.
Then I noticed there was NO chips with the sandwich. But the menu and all the other locations gives you a bag of chips with your sandwich.
So I called the store a lady with a thick accent answered I explained to here that my sandwich didnt have chips with it. At first she said he had no orders from my address at work… SMH… I asked to speak to a manger she said she was the manager. She said this location dont have chips and never did. I am like what??? She didnt say sorry or anything. I told her what is she going to do about this issue. She said why dont you come down to our store here and you will see we dont have any chips.
WTF are u kidding me…
I am going to email their corporate office on this issue. If there are no chips they should lower the prices of the sandwichs then.
Like I said never again she had no empthy at all.

For late-​night pizza delivery or pickup in the OPRF area (oak park-​river forest), Sarpino’s pretty much has you over a barrel – they’re your one and only option.
The pizza quality isn’t terrible, but it’s far from great. I can’t comment on any of their other menu items, as the ‘za is all I’ve gotten. A medium two-​topping pie is $ 15. What? Who do they think they are, Rosatis? Giordanos?!? Alas, it’s nowhere near as good and just as expensive.
To put things into perspective, you can get a medium two-​topping pizza from Dominos for $ 5.99, and it ain’t half bad. Once again, for the price of ONE of Sarpino’s medium ‘za’s, you can get TWO of the exact same thing from Dominos, or probably even Papa John’s for that matter.
Honestly, if I ever get a hankering for pizza late at night, I’d much rather go to a Walmart and buy a Tombstone (frozen pizza, durr) to bake myself, instead of subjecting myself to the crazy price gouging of Sarpino’s.

Just ordered the lasagna and a side of meatballs from Grub Hub for lunch. It was delicious! And the price… Excellent! I’ll be ordering again real soon!

Unlike most of the reviews on here, I actually get good service anytime I’ve gone. This place is only a 2 min drive from me and is the ONLY place I can count on to be open late night for pizza in the area… besides Bacci =D But I go here because its super close and it hasn’t disappoint me yet.
I can’t talk too much on the pizza because what I mostly order from here are the calzones. Always hot and fresh, super yummy! Never fails, always the same consistency (guess I’ve gotten lucky?) hahaa who knows. Anyhow this is my go to place for calzones!
As for the customer service… its always been good as well. For me anyways =)

I get rude people on the phone all the time. My food is always cold. Why do I keep trying?

For late night 1am no one else delivers pizza, can’t complain about the pizza. Delivery time is ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ but can’t complain because no one else delivers at this time. Over all I’m happy!

i was once on a job site in Arkansas and a local helper suggested we get some pizza for lunch. Who does not like pizza I say.
Take me to your pizza — oh local person, give to me the goodness.
He took me to a Ci Ci’s pizza buffet. It was ran by angry teenagers who could care less about the food they put on the hot table. I was pretty sure that that was the worst pizza I had ever had.
I was not wrong, but this is the worst pizza I have since. How can you even put this out in a city where pizza is king.
My wife and I were both very unhappy with the product, and the service.
I will not order this again.

Thank you Sarpino’s Pizza for donating 15 Large pizza and XL salad for fundraising and helping such a great cause. Pizza was excellent!!! Sarpino’s is always delicious and wonderful pizza and I have always been pleased with this location.
I just walked in and talked to the manager about fundraising event, even thou it was such a short notice, he was really excited to help me out. Turned out great and delicious
