Definitely not my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is just ok… usually order steak tacos or super nachos and the meat isn’t great but the extra toppings: cheese, sour cream and avocado makes it taste good, other than that it would taste bland. I like the fact they are open late with convenience parking.

I’ve tried this on my own for dinner (chicken flautas) and with my mom for take-​out lunch (combo plates). The combo plate is nice because you get a taco (your choice of meat), quesadilla and tamale. The tamale is very mild, but they give you red and green sauce, so you can adjust the heat. Good rice and beans and for the price, you are certainly full. The flautas I had were a little over-​cooked and I wish they had ground beef ones instead of just chicken. Most people were getting the ginormous burritos, so I’ll have to try those next.

They have a great veggie burrito, jam packed with delicious grilled vegetables and guacamole. Leave off the cheese and sour cream and it’s vegan.

Not the greatest food. I had a jr burrito. It came with a side of beans and rice. Rice was ok, beans taste like can beans. Burrito, well not that good. I wouldn’t come back.

I must say this place use to be good when it first opened but was so disgusting when I went in yesterday. I will never I mean never go in there again. The place was dirty and the food was so greasy, tasteless and was just slopped together. I am not exaggerating when I say i left the place gagging almost throwing up. I had not ate more then a quarter of my food when I threw it out. This place deserves no stars and two thumbs down. Totally disappointed and I’m surprised the dept of health, food and sanitation hasn’t shut them down!

My first attempts to eat here misfired when noone was home even though the hours on their sign said they were supposed to be open. This time I showed up around 1p and found the place a mess. The order-​taker never smiled and looked miserable. I ended up having to sit facing the hallway to the bathroom as it was the only clean table in the restaurant even though they weren’t busy and there was only one other customer. Salsa was tasteless. Quesadilla was good. Burrito had little flavor. Great place if you have very little money and want the most calories for the buck. Bad place if you are looking for friendly happy service with great food.

This place hits the spot on late night craves. I really love the one on Belmont and Harlem the best. But I live closer to North ave so I go here to save the gas. The steak meat taste different and has a lot of rubbery pieces I have to spit out. Beware: Ordering the nacho supreme is risky business! It’s either hit or miss not very consistent. I got stale chips a few times or darkened old guacamole another. But sometimes it’s spot on… I just order and cross my fingers. It helps to tell them to use fresh chips. But when in doubt the burritos are always on point despite the rubbery pieces!

Just polished off a carne asada burrito from TBK and I gotta say WOW, now THAT hit the spot! I’m not sure if it was just because I was extremely hungry or that the burrito was just that delicious, but it was a very enjoyable experience! I’m going to go ahead and rate this place four stars not only because that burrito was so damned delicious, but also because they have an open kitchen where you can see your food being prepared, and they are open ’till 5am on weekend nights! Gotta love places that stay open that late!

it looked so good but the food really had no taste. It’s so bland and what I imagine dog food to be like. it’s like they have no seasoning or that episode of spongebob when they were painting lard to look like Krabby patties… this is what their food is like.

The girl behind the register is a nightmare. Placed an order for rice, chips and salsa, steak quesadilla, and two drinks. Charged for guac, said sorry we didn’t order that, and got «you said that and you should have listened to me when I repeated your order» in return. Great attitude! Could we maybe get the drinks we ordered? «I already gave it to you and you only ordered one». Basically the manager had to step in, and that sums up our experience.

Horrible once again. Won’t make any substitutions for my corn intolerance. Mole enchiladas had no mole sauce on them. Took forever. Person working didn’t speak enough English to understand our order. And this was to go — so no way to correct it since we drove way out of our way to get it. My husband loves the steak quesadilla so he can eat that on his own — I will never eat there again.

You know it’s a bad sign for a restaurant when they can’t afford to change the lightbulbs. This was my favorite place for quick Mexican food, but it’s obviously going downhill quickly. Not so good anymore. PLEASE pull it together TBK!

I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN! I should have taken the advice of my sister who ordered stake tacos last month and got sick! To begin, yesterday I ordered 3 chicken tacos, one of my tacos had a bone from the chicken in it which I bit into. Later that evening, I had a bad case of the chills, followed by the shakes, diarrhea and finally vomiting! Needless to say after having a mild cause of food poisoning, I’ll never eat here again

I ordered a veggie taco with avocado and NO cheese. Received a veggie taco with guacamole (not real avocado), sour cream, and a big piece of chicken mixed in. I’ll opt for the more traditional mexican joint down the street.
