I first visited Doug because of stress related issues. He’s easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. It’s fun to learn how the body heals itself with a little nudging from the needles. He also did an I Ching reading for me, which was very interesting. More recently, I opted for cosmetic acupuncture with great results. It definitely helped my skin and fine lines. I highly recommend Rising Moon Acupuncture — and it’s affordable!

Great experience. Went in with neck, arm and back pain from an issue with disc in the cervical area of my spine. After much failed physical therapy and limited movement in my neck, I was almost 100% better after 3 treatments. Very affordable. I continue treatments 1 – 3 weeks whenever I can.

My history with Rising Moon begins as I was riding the bus to work one day. My headaches and tinnitus were really getting to me. My primary doctor recommended acupuncture (I had tried it 3 years ago loved it but could not afford the $ 75 – 120 per treatment that my practitioner asked for even though she was worth every penny!) When I saw Rising Moon’s sign that said sliding scale acupuncture $ 20-​$ 50 I felt my prayers had been answered!
Doug has been an absolute doll! He went all the way to Chinatown to get me the herbs that I needed. I have been to several treatments and each one gets better and better! I am currently without headaches and the tinnitus is fading. My mood is elevated and I am much more physically relaxed. I love this place and would give it 100 stars if I could!!!
