Love the oven baked pizza. Friendly staff and very nice atmosphere I usually order take away as I live nearby and these orders are quickly processed Have only ordered a couple times here but for sure will continue

This was my favorite place to get pizza for the last 8 years, but ever since they got new cooks, the service is less than great. My pizza is always over cooked or undercooked, there is just no consistency. They also take longer than they use to. They started cutting their pizza is squares too… I’m from NYC, I like my pizza in slices!

My son ordered a calzone and it was made with hot peppers :(so he couldn’t eat it:(((
when I notified the manager of this issue they gave me a really hard time :(((I’ve been going here for 20 years. I will not return or recommend it neither. I’ll spend my $$ elsewhere where my son and I are treated nicer.

If I could give this place a negative 5 Stars I would. I’ve eaten at this place multiple times now and each and every trip is worse than the last. Their pizza is mediocre at best and the service is even worse. During one of my visits we waited for over an hour just to receive drinks and when the pizza came out it was the wrong order. The most recent trip I just jumped in real quick for a slice and the cashier had zero regard for myself or any of the other guests in line and what I thought was going to take a few minutes ultimately took about 20. To top it off I didn’t even get the slice of pizza because of a outdated credit card minimum policy. I ultimately ended up going into the Wal-Mart across the street and picked up a frozen pizza. Ended up being the best decision as the Digiorno was 100 times better than what I would have gotten anyways. Steer clear of this place…

Just a real solid neighborhood pizza joint. The thin crust isn’t cracker thin by any means, meaning you get a filling pie for a reasonable price. The cheese blend is what separates this pizza from the rest of the places in the neighborhood, as they don’t go heavy on the sauce here. Great place for Saturday night carryout, will definitely be coming back.

WEDNESDAYNIGHTTRIVIAAAAAA @ 8:30pm! Although I’m not good at answering the questions, I’ve been coming here with my friends on Wednesdays. The trivia guy Paul is pretty funny. They have really awesome specials as well: $ 3 burgers and pizzas. The pizza slices are HUGE and the burgers I hear are great as well(I usually come after dinner so I haven’t ordered food from here) And usually there are drinks specials as well! Oh and guess what?!? They have FREEPOPCORN! Yup that’s right! And if u win trivia, u get $$(I think $ 20) off your bill! Plenty of big screen TVs to watch basketball or football as well! I would suggest arriving early(around 8am) to grab a good table for your team. Our fav is the one in the back(so ppl can’t hear us discussing the answers to the trivia questions). There is always plenty of street parking around the place(free on the smaller roads).

Ordered a Garbage pizza via delivery. Really not that impressive given the other options in the neighborhood. To be honest, Dominos is a much better option and costs much less.

The Pizza is Great I love the sausage slice especially, I want to stress that for a slice by all means go and enjoy it! However for a sit down dinner the food just doesn’t measure up and the service is okay. So it really depends on what you’re in the mood for. For pizza you won’t go wrong for a sit down dinner it may be more of a coin toss in terms of if you’ll be satisfied.

Terrible! Ordered a shrimp basket, veggie burger, Italian sub and a side salad for delivery. We were missing the salad dressing, cocktail sauce, and an order of fries. Not happy! Also the food was terrible. The veggie burger was frozen, morning star at the grocery store is way better. The Italian sub was so small, barely any meat. Subway blows this sub out of the water. They are coming back to pick up all the uneaten food to give us a full refund. Kind of weird? And we’ll see if they even do. However, my boyfriend loves the pizza so basically only order the pizza. That is why I’m giving them 2 stars instead of 1.

Our first time here. Not a good night in the kitchen. Maybe usually it’s better. With five people and five dinners, our first dish was served a half hour before two dishes and then the last came another 20 minutes later. Two dinners were served and then taken back because they were delivered to the wrong table. Our appetizer was offered three fourths of the way through the meal. We had to remind the waitress to bring us a salad side dish. The food was good. The manager made good on the problems.

Let me first start by saying I was by no means expecting an outstanding meal. It’s a standard Italian joint, but this was notably terrible. For starters, they had our table next to the bar, so we were constantly being aggressively bumped by waitstaff who didn’t seem to care that they were hitting the back of our heads with their butts or bumping us so hard we were spilling water on ourselves. It’s not a huge place, but a little better special planning is definitely needed there. But onto the food. At a table of 7, they managed to get 3 right. And we had to remind the waiter to bring the calamari, which was ultimately served right along with the entrees. I ordered the fettuccini primavera. The menu said vegetables and pasta sautéd lightly with olive oil and garlic. I decided to add chicken. But I was served essentially chicken noodle soup. There was broth, and lots of it. Then, two others at the table ordered Gangster Lobster, which was said to have 2 lobster tails in each dish. However, upon eating it, one dish had one tail and a different dish had 3. Finally, another person at our table ordered ravioli with a cream sauce, but much like the fettuccini I had, it was a soup. When they set the food down, the raviolis weren’t even remotely visible. He basically had a search and rescue mission to find his food. When we made the waiter aware of the issues, nothing was done to remedy any of this. I understand things don’t always run smoothly, but if an issue arises, please deal with is accordingly!

This place has great pizza; I often stop by for a slice of their sausage square, always fresh and well priced, my favorite being the Spingione Sicilian style pie which is fluffy and well portioned. The staff always very polite and the service is fast and the price right, great place for a meal.

Renaldi’s pizza is my favorite pizza in Chicago. Order their thin crust pizza, which FYI is a little thicker than you’d expect thin crust to be, but it is fantastic!!! Renaldi’s set up is really cool. They have a nice patio, they have a cool bar area inside, and they have a separate dining room that is a little more family friendly and better lit. They also have a to-go area where you can just buy single slices! They deliver, but they take a long while sometimes. I prefer to just pick it up or dine-in. I haven’t ordered much else besides their pizza, and I don’t really have a desire to try any other items. For me, I go to Renaldi’s just for their pizza. My only complaint is that I think their prices are too expensive!!! You will easily spend over $ 30 for a large thin with a couple toppings. It’s nuts!

Always enjoy stopping by Renaldi’s for pizza – pepperoni most of the time. It’s a no frills atmosphere, but the pizza is delicious. A great neighborhood spot to try, and you can sit inside for a regular lunch or dinner, order by the slice inside for takeaway, or sit outside during the summer on the patio. If you haven’t tried it yet and are in the mood for pizza I would recommend Renaldi’s.

Went last night, ordered a calzone but received a stromboli instead. The manager insisted that’s the way calzones are made, without ricotta cheese! They didn’t offer to remove it from the bill, and only did so after adamantly insisting upon it. Service was also horrible; never returning to this poor excuse of a restaurant!

I visited Chicago and wanted some«authentic» Chicago style pizza. I tried some downtown and was disappointed. Was hanging out and seen this place. I had cheese deep dish and cheese NY style slice. And OMG it was good! And they give you huge slices. So I had to eat the NY slice later.

Delivery quality varies. I swear we order the same thing every time and its different every time… but still yummy. Love their sauce and pizza. The salads leave a lot to be desired but the dressing is awesome. This place is worth checking out but I would stick with the pizza.

Because sometimes you want good old-fashioned thin-crust pizza with fresh Italian sausage and grease. And also potato skins piled with bacon, cheddar and ranch.(Delivery comes quickly and pipin’ hot!)

I came here a few weeks ago with my family. They were in town visiting me, and as we walked down Broadway, we came upon Renaldi’s. None of us knew what to expect, really. It had a cozy feel to it. However, the lights were completely dimmed. It was hard to even read the menu after we sat down, since it was so dark. Our waitress was very personable, though. We were looking to try something like a stuffed or deep dish and she told us that their pan pizza was the closest thing they had to that. When it came out, it was pretty thin, but still tasted good. We got sausage and pepperoni toppings and it was pretty tasty. We then ordered an order of mozzarella sticks. When they came out, the cheese wasn’t melted. We sent them back and asked if they can warm them a bit more so the cheese can melt. They took a while, but they brought us an entirely new order of mozzarella sticks. And this time, the cheese was melted. When we got the bill, we noticed that they didn’t even charge us for the mozzarella sticks, since they messed them up. What great service! We were definitely impressed. Goes to show how fair their staff is. We had a good time there and enjoyed their food. We will definitely be coming back. :)

I’ve been coming to(and ordering from) Renaldi’s for 30+ years and figured it’s time for a review! The pizza of choice here is the thin crust which is legandary and best when ordered in it’s purest state… either cheese only or perhaps one topping. It’s kinda like Brooklyn style pizza, but not exactly. The best comparison I can think of is the pizza that Gigio’s on Broadway in Uptown serves. Good old-fashioned greasy«street pizza» that you can still buy by the slice on a paper plate and take it to go.(remember when most pizza places did that???) (Gigio’s : ) The dining room is decorated like an old-world Italian café and has nice cozy booths but does feel a bit cramped if they are busy. I suggest sitting at a table close to the pizza ovens so you can watch the dough being tossed in the air while pizza-magic happens. There’s also a great selection of vino and they’ve recently(in the past 10 years) opened a bar next door called«Renaldi’s After Dark.» Nice little sidewalk patio as well to enjoy your summer slice of pizza. Bottom line: You know the food will be good when a place puts their kitchen in the front-of-house for all to see. If you like Cali pizza or Sarpino’s, stay away… this place is for old-school pizza lovers.
