Their deep-dish sausage pizza is phenomenal. The crust is amazing, buttery, crisp on the outside with the right amount of chew. This is local Chicago pizza at its finest. It is made hot to order and it is definitely worth it. Call in an order on your way home on the Rock-Island line!

The concept of a BYOB deep dish spot is intriguing. I loved the atmosphere. Love the location. And the staff was pleasant enough. But the food was lack luster at best. The crust was very hard and burnt. The pizza was put together in a way that left a lot to be desired. There was a thin layer of «topping» on top of a huge hunk of cheese. I’m a fan of deep dish that has toppings throughout. For the price, it was just thrown together with no effort. I ordered a salad that was all lettuce. There was just no prep. We called in our pizza at 6:30pm. Got to the restaurant at 7:15. And weren’t served our pizza until 8:20. I get that deep dish takes a while to prepare but two hours??? I wouldn’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s a shame bc again, it’s an awesome concept in a location that I love

The place is wonderful and great place to dine in with large groups. This is the Lou Malnati’s of the south side !!

All the pizzas are great(large) and very tasty. I recommend ordering the minestrone as an app along with a salad. The only complaint is it does take time to cook the pizza, but that’s because they take the time to make it right. Also, cannot beat BYOB.

Wow. I was not expecting this. I’ve driven by this little restaurant so many times and I’ve never stopped. One friend insisted so many times, so after driving around the area decided to give the place a chance. It was just as he said. Probably one the best pizzas in the city. The crust is quite different from other places. It’s less bread than what I can describe almost sconce like, is like a dense biscuit. Now the sauce. That was outstanding. Wet, flavorful. We added some ingredients but there was no need. Cheese, the sauce maybe basil is enough. Just plain good. Will definitely come back.

Best deep dish pizza I’ve ever had. A hidden gem on the south side of Chicago. Great food, great service, and even better prices. You can’t lose! We will be coming every week without a doubt.

A BYOB gem with no corking fee and an outdoor patio. The deep dish pizza(which is excellent) takes a while to cook. So get there early, bring a bottle of wine and enjoy the company of friends and family!

The food was amazing! The BYOB part, is also a plus… the service.HORRIBLE. Not the first time that we’ve experienced this kind of «service.» We ordered an hour ahead and when we got there, they didn’t have our reservation on record. We were ok with that but, had to wait an extra 45 minutes for the pizza. After waiting, they gave us only 2 pizzas when we originally ordered 3. The server came in and handed us a sandwich. We told him what we ordered and blamed us for not making it clear. Instead of him asking us what he could do, he continued saying it was due to US informing him. I also asked for habanero peppers and he forgot about them until we left. Even then, he didn’t bring them. The food was amazing but they should really have a manager at all times and perhaps hire a new staff.

This place has the best pizza. You can sit outside in the back and it’s really quiet and secluded. Best of all its Bob!!! Get there early because it gets really busy after 6pm

My favorite Deep Dish in the whole city. Cool neighborhood spot, great food. I’ve had a slow server once or twice on a busy night, but it comes with the territory sometimes with a small spot like this. I recommend it to anyone with a love of deep dish, menu is straight to the point, Pizza, and a few things to eat while you wait for your pizza. It’s also BYOB which makes it perfect to go and have a few drinks and conversation.

that’s how good It was awesomeSAUCE!!‼The food was delicious! We had a deep dish pizza with onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. It was to die for! There could have been more deserts and different appetizers. I would give the atmosphere a thumbs up because there was candles and lights on the windows. The best part was how nice the employees were. I’ve been there before and I will still be coming back. It’s BYOB so bring your wine or beer. Reviewed by Brownie and Flapjack!

Nice quaint place for a date. Deep Dish pizza, Meh! Ya’ll ain’t Lou Malnatis, you can’t just throw hand crushed tomatoes on top of pizza. Lou can do that because they’ve mastered it over the years. But the sauce is to watery and it’s just tomatoes, very bland. The crust could have been pressed a little more but good flavor. Not a place i would bring someone from outta town for their first try at deep dish.

This place is magical! A pure hidden treasure. My friend and I are always in search of BYOB’s, and we struck gold with this one! The pizza was excellent! The ambiance was warm, cozy and inviting. It felt like I was having dinner in my livingroom, with family and friends. I would absolutely recommend this place to others, with the great customer service, food, ambiance, and BYOB benefits, you surely won’t be disappointed! I myself, have found a new wonderful place to enjoy good food and great company…“Enjoy!!”

By far the best«corn flour» deep dish crust I have ever had. The pizza crust was crunchy and delicious, the cheese was soft and gooey and the sauce was tomato-ey and sweet. Definitely a new favorite!

I love pizza so I’m always up for trying new places, especially if its deep dish pizza! A small restaurant and not too crowded for a Saturday night. The individual pizza’s are quite filling and delicious and the garlic bread was decent. This place is BYOB so that’s nice. The server was really friendly & told us about the live jazz they feature sometimes. The staff was nice and service was relatively good. Nice place to try out if you love pizza!

My boss had been talking about this place for a while. He raved about the best deep dish pizza he’s ever had. He recently decided to treat his whole team to dinner, and this is the place he had in mind. I love that this place is BYOB. Chicken wings were super good. Pizza, even better. The crust is excellent. We had a really good time. The staff was great. Brendan was our server, and really took care of us. I told my husband we would come back so he could try it. FYI this place only serves deep dish pizza.

I think I found my new favorite deep dish. I have wanted to try this place for well over a year now. How is it that I live 4 miles from here and it took me that long?! It’s a small place. I would say they have about 15 tables and a small(beautiful) patio in the back. They do take reservations. We didn’t need them on a Sunday evening. I’m not sure what weekends look like though. We started with the chicken wings and mozzarella sticks. Not mind blowing but solid. The wings had a nice kick to them. The pizza takes a good 45 minutes. You can really taste the freshness. My usual favorite is Lou’s and this pizza won hands down. We ordered sausage and garlic. This is the way to go if you’re a garlic lover. I could taste it in every bite. The sauce had a nice sweetness to it(which I like) and the crust was phenomenal. We had a party of 4 and everyone raved about this being the best pizza they have had in a long time. They are BYOB(no alcohol sold here) so come prepared. This is the only thing keeping it from 5 stars. I love BYOB. I was just shocked at all the rules here. I’m used to the restaurant keeping my beer chilled for me. They can’t do that here. Most people bring a cooler with them. I’m not sure if this is a random rule or the other places I go just break the rules? It’s not a deal breaker. Just know going in you may need a small cooler. Service was great though. She was sweet and brought us plenty of ice and was helpful with our beer situation.

I’m always on the search for BYOB restaurants in the SW burbs — trust me, there are only a few. I came across this pizza place on Unilocal and decided to check it out. Made a reservation for 5:00pm for a group of 12… ended up with 8 people showing. Service was friendly and attentive. The place is small inside, but cute and clean. There is also an outdoor patio in the back, which was a surprise. It was a small patio — maybe 5 tables of 4. They only serve deep dish pizza — check out the menu on line, it is very small and limited. We ordered garlic cheese bread and tomato bread to start with. Both were EXCELLENT! For pizza, 2 people ordered individual pizzas and the rest of us split a large veggie pizza and a large sausage/pepperoni. It took over an hour for the pizzas to come out. But when they did, they were pipping hot and huge! The sauce is slightly sweet. The crust is about ¼″ thick of a corn-mealish crust — very hard to cut through. Wasn’t a huge fan. The toppings were good — vegetables were very fresh. The sausage was a huge patty pressed into the dough. There wasn’t much cheese that I could tell, so maybe order extra cheese. The place was like a sauna inside and we were all going to die of heat stroke. They said the air was on, but it was probably 90 degrees inside. It was beyond uncomfortable. For this fact alone, I would never go back here. It took about ½ hour for us to get the check — not sure why, we asked for it several times. When we left, one of the workers came running out after us telling us that we had to take all our empty bottles with us(beer and wine) and throw them out, somewhere outside of the restaurant. This was bizzare.
