Horrible food. Too many better options in the area to waste my time or money here. Sandwiches were tasteless and the service was horrible. Staff has a bad attitude. I also got food poisoning from this place. Buyer beware. avoid this crappy establishment at all costs!

Whenever im in the area, i love getting sandwiches from Piatti Pronto. I usually get the Italian, but the roast beef is also delicious. At roughly $ 6.50 for a 12 inch plus sandwich, you cant go wrong.

I have been a regular here for the past year and a half, and while I am a big fan of the sandwiches(you simply can’t beat the quality, size and value for your $$$), I think the real hidden gem is their assortment of grocery items. I can find items here I can’t find at any other grocery store. Lots of very unique imported specialty items, as well as many items from local companies that I can’t find at the big stores. The fact that they support local companies is a big plus in my opinion. Plus, their prices ar much cheaper than I would expect for such a small store… seems like they could be charging a lot more for the unique assortment and quality of the items they sell. The other thing I love about this store is the staff, always friendly, and the owner always takes the time to not only say hi, but also asks me about my day. We need more stores like this!

A gem of the neighborhood, you can get imported European products and a great selection of fine cured meats. Mike is super generous, has given donations to all the nonprofits I have work for and takes care of everyone who come through his doors.

Piatta Pronto is a gem, in the Andersonville community. The selection is fantastic, the price is right and the sandwiches are always tasty. But what sets them apart is their friendly service. I usually go up with my kids, and they always treat them special. I am glad Piatta Pronto calls my community its home!

Great food, and great service. My wife and I visit this deli at least 3 times a month, on the way home from work. Highly recommended. I am aware if the recent publicity. and have come to the following conclusion. I don, t care. :) Mike can wear what ever he wants to. If you don’t like it. do not go. Simple really. See you soon Mike !

Good bread, but there’s no meat in these sandwiches. Service was slow and distracted. Too many better options in the neighborhood to waste any money here.

Inviting sandwich place, friendly service, but I got food poisoning from this place. I may give it another try some day but for now I have to stay away.

Gave Piatto Pronto a second chance with a pickup order, and was satisfied this time on all counts: value, timing and quality were all above average. My friends who shared the sandwiches also gave them a thumbs up. Revised to 4 stars

I work in the area and frequent this place for lunch and am never disappointed. My favorite sandwich is probably the Dolce di Parma, but I’ve had quite a number of their sandwiches and panini and they’re all amazing. BIG sandwiches, too, no matter what size you order! The staff is super friendly and service is very quick. Definitely one of the best delis/sandwich shops around.

I have gone time and time again for the Dolce Di Parma and pickle chips. Best sandwich on the menu. I get their homemade pesto too which is great to have on hand. They have really good dips for my book club too. I have never had a bad experience food wise or with the staff. They are very nice. I will say though, one time, I was there and they were taking out the garbage in the back and I could smell it which was really unappetizing. I know they have to take it out but if I can smell it up front, probably means they need to take it out in a more timely manner.

Hands down the best delicatessen this side of the Ohio Valley. The staff greats everyone the second you step foot inside. Ok full disclosure… No self respecting Joisey Gal would ever eat at Potbellys, et al. The quality and quantity of theirs«hoagies» are second to none. A 6″ hoagie is enough for two people for $ 6, you can’t get this style of goodness anywhere else. Fresh roasted meats, crisp vegetable toppings, incredible bread ! All prepared foods are homemade with a nice variety of meals and soups. Here’s the best part for my fellow foodies… wait for it… an array of imported Mediterranean products at domestic prices.

Five stars for the Il Milano sandwich alone. It’s really outstanding, and the meat and cheese are so flavorful on their own that you don’t need condiments. The baguette it comes on is also deliciously fresh and crispy, without being so tough that you can’t bite off a piece. We each ordered a 6″ sandwich, but they gave us 12″ at the 6″ price. Can’t beat that! It was almost too much food for me, but it was so good that I couldn’t stop eating until it was completely gone. The man running the register was also hilarious, making jokes and conversation with each person that came in the shop. They have a huge selection of deli meats, cheeses, pasta, soup, and other imported and domestic foods and drinks. There’s no seating in or immediately in front of the store, but there are public benches at Clark and Olive(one right around the corner from the shop) where you can eat in the shade and people watch. We’ll definitely be back, and next time I want to try their soup, too.

This place is the BOMB. Oh my gosh. First time eating there was today. I ordered two sandwiches to-go: the Grainder and the Big Easy. Both were PHENOMENAL! The chips they have are GMO free and gluten free and absolutely delicious!!! I ordered 2 twelve inch sandwiches and a 5 oz bag of chips. Total was like $ 18 for everything. The sandwiches were incredible. Flavorful, full of quality ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Mmmmmm. I give everything I ate an A+ and the staff especially were friendly and pleasant. I also love the selection of imported goods. So many delicious drinks and snacks from Italia. YUM! Definitely try this place if you are a sandwich lover. MMMMMMMM!
