This specific Patagonia is on Oak Street which is right off of Michigan Avenue. It has less foot traffic than other stores on Michigan, so the store was less crowded which was a plus. I enjoyed this Patagonia store because it was organized and the workers were helpful. The men’s is on the first floor. The women’s and children’s merchandise is on the second floor. I don’t think this Patagonia has a sale section. I didn’t see it when I went. This doesn’t surprise me because their sales are usually on the website and are for exclusive items.

Thanks to Grace for doing some investigative work to hunt down a backpack that wasn’t in production any longer. I will continue to recommend Patagonia products and their service to friends and family.

This stuff is expensive but lasts forever. My zipper on my 6 year old H2no jacket broke so I brought it into this location. They sent it off to get fixed and it was mailed back to my house in about 2 months ALLFORFREE. They said it took a little longer because of the holiday season.

We’re only a month in, so I can easily say that Grace has made Jan 22 the best day of 2014 for me so far. Not only did Grace and the rest of the team greet me as I walked in, but they wanted to help right away. After talking about what I was looking for, a down jacket, to replace my inner lining, Poor Grace had to listen to me lament about my jacket problems. In the end, Grace came through and solved my lining problem! We talked about Patagonia and how great the company is, how much they do outside of creating products, and how she is thrilled to be part of a cool group. While you might end up paying a little more(similar to the prices of that store further north), you are sure to have a product that lasts, works, and the company stands behind! They will make sure your gear goes the extra miles and lasts longer than any other brand out there. Well worth the trip in to find what you’re looking for. Thank you Grace and Patagonia!

Hey dudes back off a littel will ya? Look, the store looks good and had losts of stuff. You have a bunch of offiuce people who are going to come in at lunch just to browse a littel as seasons change etc. plxzzz get out of my face in first five seconds and then repeatedly asking if I need help when I say hey no. are you hearing this? Get off my back and stay off! sorry to be so blunt but come on this is 101 stuff. I dont care that ‘corporate’ told you to hound me my whole visit. most every time! There it has been said and yes I do feel littel better LOL

So, I bought two backpacks from Patagonia. I was a bit sticker shocked since I haven’t headed Back to School for some time, but as I travel a bit, having extra space, comfort, and options was necessary. I took the smaller pack to Peru to hike the Inca trail and discovered, even in my petite frame, just how important having a chest strap is. Unfortunately, the Chupacabra pack(ok, it’s called Chacabuco, but I can never remember and Chupacabra is fun to say!) didn’t come with a strap. Then on another trip I lost part of a strap on the Cascada(no nickname) bag. Imagine my shock and Joy that Patagonia not only Replaced the entire Backpack that lost the strap, but also gave me a strap for my Chupacabra bit then Thanked Me for pointing out that the Chupa, though small, was still big enough for a chest strap.

In LOVE with my new jacket! It’s warm, cozy and the hood actually fits and stays on in heavy wind :) I would def make another purchase in the near future.

I came in looking for a specific type of pants and the friendly staff member impressed me by not stopping only with admitting that they do not have the item, but he referred me to the sports outfitters a block away that would have the pants. He gave me directions and pointed out to me how to get to that other store. Kudos for the management keeping a staff member who is so honest and helpful

i have been faithful to patagonia for over 15 years and so i’m in Chicago and i passed a store and went in. The store looks great but sadly the staff suck! i picked up two items from the sale rack for my daughter and when I went to pay they told me that the rucksack was not on sale, even though it had a 50% off ticket in the bag! The sales assistants start talking to each other in front of me and my daughter and then finally girl says to the other sales person ‘You don’t have too…’ i. e they are not honouring the price, and I felt like they were accussing me of putting the sales tag in the bag — please check the security tapes. They we’re unfriendly, unhelpful and i felt i was treated poorly — What is going on Patagonia? Ok i’m not in sunny laid back California today but I expect the same genuine Patagonia experience where ever I go… I walked out not buying anything with a bad taste in my mouth… This Patagoinia store sucks…

This Patagonia location is new. I came here to return a jacket I picked up at the Georgetown store in DC. The lady was very helpful and even knew the guy I got the jacket from. I thought that was pretty cool. She also helped me pick out another jacket that I really liked. Bottom line: Convenient location, great service, excellent products!
