This was the worst nail salon I ever went to, starting with them telling me they didn’t do no chips, even though they had the no chip colors in plain view and my friend had gotten one there before. When I pushed her on getting one she said the lady who does them was tired. That should have been my cue to leave. In hindsight I realize they wanted me out of there because they wanted to serve their male clientele. There are absolutely some sketchy things happening in there. From 7 — 7:15 the men just kept piling in. I was so uncomfortable I left. You may not think this is strange but why did the female employee who came in for her 7:00 shift strip down from her winter gear to daisy Dukes and a camisole… Hardly the masseuse outfit. But I digress. In an effort to get me out In a hurry, the girl doing my nails said a different girl was gonna do my massage. This was the lady that came out from the back flossing her teeth. So gross. I wanted the 20 min massage they had posted in their mani/pedi packages and again in an effort to get me out fast before 7:00 the lady told me only 15 minutes. But I called her out on that and she said fine. 10 min on my legs and feet, 10 min on my back and shoulders. During my leg massage she was on the phone, calling, answering and giving me the worst massage ever with one hand. For the shoulders and neck part, she put me in a chair in front of the cold door. I will NOT be coming here again

I had a sore shoulder and came here to get a massage. They were really pushy about trying to get me to do a 1 hour massage instead of 30 minutes. I also saw them throwing their trash in the city/street garbage can. Maybe that doesn’t make any difference, but what kind of business can’t pay for their own trash disposal? I guess they figure my tax dollars can pay for their trash.

I come with my mom and I have had massages before, but never feel good of this. Both our massages were excellent. they have a good massage therapist, and I would definitely Come back. they are so wonderful and they worked on all our problem areas.

DONTGOHERE! They don’t know what they are doing! They don’t even deserve one star. They messed up my eyebrows!!! I asked if they did eyebrows and she seemed confused with what I asked her, she answered yes and told me 15 $ we went in to this little room and mind you this place is humid and smells bad. She then proceed but still seemed confused with what was going on. I should have stopped her there and walked out but I was giving her chance. She goes on and does my left eyebrow and waxes half of it off!!! I begin to yell at her, which i don’t like to do, but this pissed me off. Seconds later women from the back of the room heard the yelling and came to see what was going on. The lady insisted on a free one hour massage, but I stormed off with out paying and one and half eyebrows. I later Unilocal this location, which I should have done in the first place, and I learn that this isn’t the first time that someone storms off with out paying. I also learn that this place is also not a typical«spa» I really don’t understand why they are still open and why they put up a front like they know what they are doing.

I stopped in here because I was walking by and noticed they had a combination deal for reflexology and massage for only $ 39. Always looking for a bargain, I thought I would check it out. I had never had a reflexology treatment before and I must say it was amazing. They explained each part of the foot they were working on and what part of the body it connected to. I literally had this chronic pain in my hip completely disappear. The massage was just icing on the cake. I’ve had many massages and it was certainly in my top 5−10%!

So, well let me start off by saying that I was warned by a couple of co-workers that there was a little more than nails being done here, so I was a little skeptical about trying this place, but I was in desperate need of a Manicure and Eyebrow Wax; as this place is right across the street from my job, I really had no other choice but to go during my Lunch. I went in about 2:00 pm on a Monday and was out in about a little over an hour, maybe not quite even that long. The Nail Tech, which I believe was also the Owner, was very pleasant and engaged me in conversation during my Manicure. The place is stocked with a pretty decent range of colors from OPI and some other brands. For awhile I was the only customer in the place, not too long after a gentleman came in looking for a Pedicure, and was almost forced into going in the back for a «massage». All-in-All the experience was a pleasant one and the Manicure was done nicely. My Eyebrows, left a little to be desired, but to be fair, I do have quite difficult eyebrows to work with, so I won’t take away too much for that. Prices aren’t bad, around what you would expect from a Loop Location Nail Salon/Spa.

I received a massage from a male therapist which I requested. It was odd and somewhat uncomfortable. You could hear the women talking the whole time in the next room. I carpet on the floor looks like maybe 10 years old. The therapist kept taking calls, texting and even left the room a couple of times… and there I lay on the table naked(a towel over me) with the door swinging open as he entered and exited. It was a bit pricey especially for the quality. Don’t walk a away… RUN!

OK manicure, but I could have done the same at home in about the half the time. It might be the weird hours — manicures until 5 or so, «other services» until 10 or 11 — or the employees that kept trying to push the massage services. Maybe the fact that the only clientele I’ve noticed(and I live around the corner) are men? Something rubs me the wrong way here.

This place is filthy, and they have signs inside stating that they are not responsible for infections. Something tells me that the city health inspectors might just have a different take on that statement. Yuck!

DONTGOHERE!!! NOOOOOOOOOODONTDOITTTT resist the temptation of a convenient location– dont make the same mistake i did. and apparently the other Unilocaler before me. her review was made just a week ago. does that mean this place is STILL open?! i used to live right around there a few months ago and went in to get a pedicure and a cut and color change on my hands. honestly, why did i pay for a lady to put nail polish all over skin!!! my nails were super sharp and not filed correctly. the chick had NO idea how to apply nailpolish. my 4 yr old niece can apply it better than she could. i had her re-apply it on my nails and i remember showing her how to do it. and she couldnt figure out what she was doing wrong. um HALLO– if theres clumps all over my nails and the nail polish doesnt cover the entire nail and instead is all over my skin. there is SOMETHING wrong with that. i felt so bad bc my friend was visiting from out of town and this is the gdamn nail place i took her to. the pedicure was just as bad if not worse. i actually went home and took the nail polish off. there was no point in trying to go back and have her do it over, cuz she flippin sucked. anyways. since this experience, i have never wanted to try another nail place in chicago. i stick to the best — Orchard nails in Naperville. i dont care if its 30 mins away, i always leave with the most amazing nails at a much cheaper price than this horrendous place. DON’T BEFOOLEDBYTHEBEAUTIFULPEDICURECHAIRS. DONTGOHERRE! SAVEURMONEY! SERIOUSLY.

I wouldn’t let these people touch me if I was stranded on an island and had no hands! I’m serious. I’m really trying to keep my business in the neighborhood so I stopped in to have them do my nails and it did not go well. To make a long story short, it took over an hour and she was only halfway done when I finally just left. Why did I leave with my nails(acrylics) half done? Because she drew blood! It was so bad I actually let out a loud Unilocal and the others came out from the backroom to see what was going on. They remain in business and are open some interesting hours for a salon so I’m sure they are good at something, just not the services I’m in need of…
