P.O.S.H is a cute little vintage shop! It is in the more expensive side of vintage finds, but it is a great place if you want to get a present that is special and unique. Some very sweet plush dolls and vintage toys for kids. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you like vintage boutiques, it is definetely worth to check this place out.

Amazing selection and the friendliest staff make this little shop a true gem in Chicago. You can easily find a great souvenir(check out the great vintage Chicago post card selection in the back!) for yourself or friends. Can’t wait to go back and see what they have next time in in town!

As everyone knows, I rarely give 5 Stars, because frankly, there’s no where to go from there, so it better be damn amazing! Well friends, this is a fantastic store. Now, let’s contextualize… I’m a straight guy who just happens to have great taste and is a very visual person. So this is for everyone. I’m shocked such a place exists, you’d think it was from a bygone era. It’s an eccentric mix of old and new merchandise. I’m told the owners travel Europe and find old warehouses of forgotten merchandise, bring it back to their shop to a salivating clientele. I’ve been coming here for 3 years since it’s right around the corner from my condo. I’ve purchased a Cold-War era leather Czech map bag(remember, Czechoslovakia never existed if you are from either the Czech Republic or Slovakia)! It fits my iPad and keyboard along with a few other things, perfectly! It’s so nice that I had to buy at least three others as gifts for friends who craved having one when they saw mine. Not only does it look cool, hip, and unique, but you’ve got a great story to tell with it… so the bragging rights come free! Price? $ 40! Unilocal, that’s it! 40 bucks for a brand new leather bag. So their prices are reasonable. This is my «go-to» place for gifts that receive rave reviews, which can’t be purchased elsewhere. My mom loves the set of French plates I bought for her birthday, a couple of really neat french signs, an exit sign(Sortie) and a «food» sign(cuisine) which I framed and put on the wall… It’s a fun place to browse and it’s never the same store twice. Having read a negative review on here about«POSH» remember, judge the place on its own merits, not on what you«think it should be» or «imagined it to be». C’mon people… get reasonable!

Fact: I want everything in this store. Loved the flea market feel of the place, makes me believe that there are endless possibilities. And there are — so. many. unique pieces sprinkled throughout the shop. My favorites of the day included the jars and dishes made of blue milk glass and the«pancakes make people happy» plates. I’d be happy to have both of them in my kitchen.

This store is in a very convenient location but if you’re looking for unique finds and 60s kitsch for the serious retro/vintage collectors, I’ll look elsewhere. I feel like this is like the extended version of Anthropologie’s home goods section: very feminine, very French, and very expensive. I guess it fits the name«P.O.S.H.» very well. I like curated, but it was too curated and had a singular aesthetic. It’s essentially a bunch of vintage french glass, soaps, dishes, and candles. These are«girly» gifts for the fu-fu carefree white girl in your life. The person you buy this stuff for appreciates«barnyard chic», wears flower crowns, and goes to Coachella. She doesn’t really cook but she collects dish and kitchenware anyways to make her kitchen look cute. She puts vintage french glass with her barn door table because she wants to appear«eclectic.» She might gush about this store on her lifestyle blog. Has she even been to a barn? Who knows. Anyways… Long story short, severely disappointing for experienced vintage shoppers. Once I saw about one table’s worth of stuff I got the point. Even West Elm has more interesting things. I was trying to shop for a wedding and I didn’t feel like anything was gift-appropriate for a wedding that is inclusive and considerate of anyone who isn’t a CFWG(Here’s a $ 60 solid marble rolling pin to assault your CFWG when she gets irritating!). I’d suggest heading over to RR #1 Chicago instead.
