Delivery order for Crab Ragoons, Drunken Noodles and Tom Yum soup. I enjoyed the Rangoons but the Drunken Noodles were bland and the little flavor it had was not good. Tom Yum wasn’t great either.

An excellent Thai restaurant, very consistent(never had a bad dish served in more than a dozen visits), standard selection with a few special choices thrown in. Hard to choose what to recommend. My favorites, red and green curries, are excellent. It is BYOB, very attentive service, never crowded.

Ordered me some delivery from O’Cha Thai last night. My first test of any Thai place is the red curry. Unfortunately, this first test didn’t work out at O’Cha. We really didn’t enjoy the red curry. It really didn’t have much flavor — let alone the flavor you expect from red curry. Fortunately for us, we ordered a couple of other items, which turned out to be much better. The drunken noodles were really good. The mixed vegetables in brown sauce were OK. The fried rice was decent. All in all, it was an OK experience with O’Cha.

I ordered delivery here after reading so many positive reviews, but was disappointed with my food. Thai iced tea, crab Rangoon, and egg rolls were good. However, my main dish(pad see ew) tasted like fish(I had veggie) and my veggie pot stickers had meat in them, so I didn’t eat either of these dishes. The Tom Kha was like coconut cream with water.

Outstanding food. Seriously one of the best Thai places I’ve tried in Chicago. The green curry was amazing– perfect consistency, lots of veggies just like I like. I’m a huge fan of their tom kha soup here– I recommend getting that as well. Overall and excellent place, very reasonable priced and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Ordered pick up from here, food was ready within 10 – 15 mins. Food was decent, no complaints. The woman I spoke to on the phone was beyond adorable.

3.5 Stars. Good delivery place! Here’s a breakdown of what I’ve tried: — lime chicken: SO good, love it, 5 stars — panang curry: awesome! Order every time — crab Rangoon: decent, but not amazing — pad Thai egg rolls: average — calamari: average, a bit chewy — wings: gross! Threw them away

I don’t know what kind of Thai food the other people have been eating, but our food was horrible. Pad Thai/Chicken: Pretty standard dish. It tasted like SPAGHETTI! I had others taste it, and everyone pretty much said the same. NO green onion, NO beans sprouts, NO cabbage. ANDNOPEANUTS… WHEREARETHEPEANUTS! We were trying to figure out how you get Pad Thai to taste like spaghetti! Cucumber Salad: Most of it was chopped celery. Had to try to find the celery. Plus, the it was soft not crispy, you could tell it wasn’t fresh. Fried Rice/Chicken: Rice was pretty beat up, looked like it had been fried a few times. Egg Roll(Veggie): Greasy, couldn’t eat them. We ended up throwing most of the food away. Don’t know who I am more upset with, the people who gave this place great reviews, or the restaurant!

Excellent service! The food is bursting with flavor. The service was superb. This comes highly recommended. We WILL be returning to this restaurant again and again. There are so many choices on the menu. I had the red curry it was great my wife had the Basil Chicken. If you get a chance, please stop in.

This place is right next to my house so I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered for pick up and it was short only about 15 – 20 min wait. The inside of the restaurant looks very clean and I would definitely dine in next time. The food was very delicious. Their signature dish is the Pad Thai and that was delightful. Full bodied taste and not very spicy. The crab Rangoon was real crab which was also very good. Spring rolls were also up to my par. I work for a Japanese company so I eat a lot of Asian food. This place is definitely one of the better Thai restaurants I’ve been to in Chicago. Definitely recommend.

My go-to to-go place. 5 stars for consistency and just good basic Thai food. I get takeout from here frequently and have never been disappointed. I also love eating there — it’s BYO, with great service, and cutely decorated. My favorites are the Crab Rangoons, Tom Yum Shrimp Fried Rice, Panang Curry, Basil Chicken, and Catfish. Seems like they recently revamped their menu items — I’ve always loved this place but lately it is even better and more flavorful!

We were hunting for a new Thai place as our current fave is blocked from us by insane construction on their street. Sadly, their loss is O’Cha’s gain. It’s about halfway between my office and my house. I called them when i got in the car, 15 minutes later I was picking up my food, 10 minutes later, I was home. We got the Pad See Ewe for my wife and kid. We asked for very mild but there was hot spot in there. It’s okay, the kid is gonna hit a hotpot now and then, right? Given the other reviews on here, I kinda expected their mild to still be spicy but they did a good job toning it down and keeping the character of the dish. I got the Drunken Noodles with Chicken. They were saucy and delicious. The vegetables tasted fresh and the texture was nice and crispy. good stuff.

Tip: check in and you can get free edamame or prawn chips. –Tom yum soup(w/shrimp): lots of veggies in the soup. Tasted ok, I just wish it would have been a bit more spicy and sour, though. –Drunken noodles(w/chicken): good amount of food. Taste was ok, just wasn’t as flavorful as I’m used to. I’m not sure if I’m used to Thai food in California, but I thought the food here was just alright. The service here, however, is great.

Good food and service. We went here on Monday lunchtime. The lunch specials are cheap so we went for the green curry and basil stir fry they also come with a egg roll. The egg roll was very tasty and came out quickly. Shortly after our mains followed. The green curry was ok. nothing special. It wasn’t spicy at all, so if you want spice request it. The basil stir fry was good but came with chicken mince… I would of expected it to come with chicken breast or something along those lines. The food was still good and you got lots of it! So a great deal for money indeed. Service was also good.

We ordered lunch last Friday and it took 1hr 40m to deliver. Our massaman curry and panang curry were both good but the wait time was ridiculous!

Best Thai food in the city. I’ve been twice in the last month alone and have not been disappointed by what I have ordered. The food is consistent, service is friendly and the food arrives quickly. The décor is clean and the space is small but nice. My favorite is the Drunken Noodles: Your choice of meat stir fried with wide rice noodles, garlic, chili, broccoli, tomatoes, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and basil leaves. The dish is flavorful with the right amount of heat. I particularly love it with shrimp but the chicken is also good. My husband is a big fan of their Pad Thai: your choice of meat stir fried with thin rice noodles, bean sprouts, green onions, tofu, scrambled eggs, and crushed peanuts with chicken. Pad thai is extremely common but someone easy to mess up and O’cha has been spot on both times we have ordered it. We have also tried the Spicy Basil Chicken: Stir fried minced chicken with onions, green beans, bell peppers, mushrooms, and basil leaves with garlic chili sauce. This dish was really good but I think I prefer the strips of chicken instead of the minced and will be sure to to ask for a substitute the next time I order this dish. Last the Basil Fried Rice Fried Rice: crushed garlic, chili, bell peppers, onions, and basil leaves is excellent. The rice has a delicious a smokey flavor that I absolutely love. This dish is great with either shrimp or chicken and not to be missed if at O’Cha. Since I’ve been back, I know I will keep going back! O’cha would get 6 stars if the option existed!

Came here on a Saturday and everything was pretty great. The restaurant is BYOB, but we were fine without. The lunch special runs every day from 11ish til 3:30 everyday. Not just weekdays, which I very much appreciated. Their egg roll was pretty delicious, and I don’t really like egg rolls at all! The Pad Se Ew that I ordered was by far the best I’ve had at any restaurant in the city. I got take out from them again, and it was still superb. This is definitely my favorite place to get Pad Se Ew in the city now, and I love that it’s within walking distance!

This time of year in Chicago, you just want to crawl under the covers and hibernate until Spring. But I promised myself that this winter, I wouldn’t do that. So when looking for a place to eat on a cold wintry night, nothing sounded quite as warm and comforting as some Thai food. Even better, close to home Thai food. I’ve passed O’Cha many times and finally stopped in. It was pretty empty but it was also like 5 degrees outside. The food was awesome. We split shrimp dumplings which were tiny, steamed bites of happiness. I had the Spicy Basil Chicken. Super finely chopped chicken with peppers, basil, and onions. It was the perfect level of spicy. My friend ordered the Thai fried rice. He did ask for it to be medium spicy. Bad move. It was so spicy it blew his mind off. Which only proves my rule that you need to try how a Thai restaurant prepares something before you ask them to make it spicier. BYOB and the food is super fresh and delish!

Decent Thai food delivery place. Love their Pad See Ew. Pad Thai is good, but lacks peanut flavor. Delivery was on-time, and the food was hot. Delivery driver was friendly. Will definitely try them for future orders. Pricing is pretty standard.

BYOB good Thai food and portion sizes extensive menu reasonable prices There were only a few diners on Tuesday — no wait! I ordered the Thai basil chicken which was perfectly seasoned and super duper flavorful. I would order it again. The Thai iced tea was also exceptional. Meanwhile, my friend enjoyed her mixed vegetables entrée and her vegetable soup.
