This is the saddest noodles&co I’ve been to. My food didn’t look freshly cooked. The bowl was dirty. The staff was unfriendly. I went in the evening so it’s not like they were busy had allot of customers. I guess now I know which location to avoid! PS. I had a stomach issue after eating the penne rosa. Beware!

There are some vegan options here like the Indonesian Peanut Sauté, and it’s actually pretty good! My opinion of Noodles & Company has gone up since I decided to give them another chance. I only wish the tofu wasn’t $ 2.39 extra — I feel like that is kind of steep. But it seems like their noodles have a lot of protein in them so the extra protein isn’t really necessary.

Wanted to try this spot bc I’m in Chicago and its chilly out. Not a bad place for a quick noodle stop. Not much of a noodle soup place though. I had their Thai special with shitaki mushrooms and veggies. The broth was pretty good but for a noodle place their noodles were not cooked well for this soup. The bread goes really well with the soup. Big bowl but small portion. I guess its OK for a fast food noodle place that’s why its a 2.5−3 stars.

A member of the staff(specifically a female who served us a steak stroganoff; we had the order number 8; at the restaurant located on North Michigan Ave. in Chicago; approx. 6:30) dumped the plate on our table with a bang and immediately walked away without an apology or even acknowledgement that it had happened. That was the worst thing out of the numerous problems encountered, such as lukewarm Thai Hot Pot and wrong bowl size.

Bad customer service, they start offering food in to-go boxes more than half an hour before the closing time, making you feel somewhat unwelcome

This place is your basic soup and sandwich shop. I had never been and thought it was so Etching else. Oh well I had the chicken noodle. It was good and I was no longer Hungary.

Poor customer service. I recently went there to grab a quick dinner after work. There was one person ahead of me in line, trying to get the attention of the guy working at the counter. He was talking to someone on his mobile, while a woman sat nearby behind the counter, watching us in line but not offering to help. After several minutes the guy on the phone turned his back to us, continuing his conversation. My money and I left to have dinner elsewhere.

Friendly service, but don’t order the Pad Thai… too rubbery! Need more flavor. I was highly disappointed. I was super hungry, so that’s the only thing that kept me from taking it back. Also, it was a great price and portion.

I’m giving this location 1 star for customer service. And of course 5 star because I love my shrimp pesto cavatappi. I came here for lunch on a Friday with my coworker. Yea it was busy. But it wasn’t a big deal. As I stood there waiting for my food. A lady who worked the cash register and also pick up” asked me if I was here for pick up. I said in a polite tone… no. She raised her voice with an attitude. And very loud said«what’s yo name?» Twice! What the hell is YO. Please teach your employees to speak to customers politely with a polite tone. You are a customer driven business.

I got the Bangkok curry and my friend got the pesto cavatappi. I would say it is as good as any other noodles location, when it comes to food. What I really didn’t like was that they ignored how the store was set up. They didn’t open the register where it said order, but the one where it said pick up. Lead to a lot of confusion, which made people rude. And rude people just ruin your dinner experience a bit.

Most of the time when you are hungry, food will taste better but last night was different. I really do recommend to improve their pad thai.

Food is just not as good as other locations. My penne rosa has turned out completely dry and tasteless 3 times in a row.

Really good for what it is. The different types meals are all relatively inexpensive and I’ve always been full after eating there. Because all they serve is pasta with different combinations of sauces and meats, I think the flavor of all of them is pretty solid. Everything is simple but it tastes really good.

Good and quick food. Step above fast food because it’s healthier and just as tasty(calories posted clearly on the menu). Yes this location is on Michigan and so attracts tourists and can get busy, so I recommend going at slightly off hours for the fastest service. If you’ve been to a Noodles elsewhere then you have a good idea of what you are getting into here. The menu draws on dishes from all over the world, and slightly Americanizes them(because target consumers are here in the US). Japanese Pan Noodles and pretty tasty and on the larger side. So is the Pad Thai. Indonesian Peanut Sauté is arguable the best dish on the menu, and isn’t as hot as the 2 Peppers would indicate. I recently had the alfredo monamore, which is healthy except for the fact that it’s an alfredo sauce. The sauce itself didn’t have much flavor beyond cheese, so it detracted from the dish. For a place with noodles in the name, the Thai Hot Pot came with very few(noodles are probably the cheapest part of that dish anyway, don’t skimp there).

Noodles was my girlfriends favorite spot when she went to school in Michigan, so when we were in town she was insistent we eat here. I went with the mac and cheese with meatballs and I have to admit it was a great pick. The cheese has a great consistency and is melted perfectly. The meatballs were a bit dry and might be better suited for a marinara sauce. We also got some margherita flatbread which was ok. It’s definitely a great choice if you’re looking for a quick bite in a hurry!

I’ve had noodles and company in the suburbs by my family’s house a few times it was OK. Since it was around the corner from my new house I said you know what let me give it a try but I’m still not impressed I just don’t like their food

Noodles & Company is a safe bet for a late lunch. This location is usually bustling around noon, so it’s better to show up an hour or two later at least. When it’s not super busy, the service is great and fast. My favorite dish on the menu is the steak stroganoff. The sauce is delicious and I’ve never had a problem with undercooked meat or anything like that. The salads are also good, and mixing your own fountain drink with the fancy advanced touch screen Coke dispenser is a welcome addition to the experience. Overall, Noodles is a safe bet with dishes from around the world at a fair price.

Yes, Noodles is ubiquitous and often frequented by tourists. I hadn’t been in here for a year(or more) and it seems like the chain has recently upped its game, with a greater selection of noodles, and even non-noodle offerings(flatbread pizzas). It is good for if one is coming in at an off-peak time, as I tend to roll in to these types of places around 2:00 pm for a late lunch(or lupper hybrid). The pad thai is reliable; I go with the vegetarian option and trick it out with sriracha sauce. There are definitely more authentic pad thais out there, but for proximity and ability to accommodate an off-peak eating schedule, this place gets good marks.

Came here for lunch and got the Thai Hot Pot which was one of the dishes they were featuring. I thought the dish had pretty decent ingredients as it had basil, shittake mushrooms, phở noodles, chicken and some other ingredients. However, the broth wasn’t thick enough and it was overall pretty bland.

Finally stopped in here after walking by many a time: while located in a prime area for business, they are hardly primed to handle the number of people trying to eat here. Large numbers of people but relatively small seating. Some tables were empty but those tables were covered with dirty plates. We sat at one since it was the only option, and when the food was brought out by the lone person assigned to both clean and serve she tried to set down our food next to the dirty plates, which is just not a pleasant thing to do. I am usually pretty laid back but I was quick to tell them to clear the plates which she did with a steely jaw, as if either angry or stressed out. No wiping of the table to make it clean, that was a little too much to ask, she was out of there and didn’t see her again. Food was ok but overshadowed by the service problem.
