I came here from a recommendation of a friend with my wife and i got to say thanks jesus you were right. Juicy tasty suckulient chicken. Served with big portions. and you get to pick your own side dishes. Very affordable prices for such big portions. Hot fresh good food. Very clean establishment and nice friendly people. Great place for groups, family, or a date. Great job guys i will be back & i ‘ll recommend this place.

..been loving Mr. Pollo since the summer when I moved to Chicago. More usually I hit up the Belmont location (logan square) though; perhaps I’ll stick to that.
The food was delivered timely and the driver was very kind (it was a hellish cold that evening) as he called ahead to tell me he’d bring my food up to the door.
Tell me why I ate 90% of my ¼ chicken special before finding a stringy public hair in my rice… and then another one. (granted I was hunting)
f*ck man. some cultures worship the cow, others the duck; for me, don’t f*ck with my pollo. and they done f*cked with my pollo!
The Belmont location has been great though! yucca fries are just crispy enough, fries are super bomb, and the pollo is damn near delicious… all for like $ 7, really tho.

One of my favorite foods is chicken. So when I find a spot with good chicken I will definitely keep that menu handy and continuously come. I have no complaints so far about the food and the staff are nice and friendly. The food is ready pretty fast and the prices aren’t too bad.

Great tostones (fried smashed plantains) and Yuca fries. Hands down best chicken too. Good service (Spanglish speaking) on the phone and in person. They DO deliver but it’s so close to home, ain’t no thang to park on Diversey street and pick it up.

This place is horrible chicken under cooked takes forever to get delivery and thats if your luck enough to get your order put thru for delivery as it seems no one here speaks english. Asked to speak to a manager and the lady kept hanging up on me. Then a guy answered and hung up on me, great customer service huh. Too bad cause i like the sweet plantains.

This place has the best chicken in the area!!! Hands down. They deliver which is a plus and if you go to the place service is always fast and friendly. I can’t believe no one has Unilocaled about Mr Pollo on Diversey. Great sides to go with your chicken and the caldo de pollo that they give you is always on point and it’s free!!! My fav sides are the platano maduros and the rice and black beans!!! So if you don’t know Now You Know!!!
