Walked in, waited 10 – 15 wo being acknowledged, another customer came in, they seated him and I left. Maybe I should have made an appointment but at least see what I am there for! Walked across the street to a new place Classic Shine. She threaded my eyebrows quickly and very well. She was even able to even out a mistake of a previously uneven eyebrows. It was only 6 $, that is where I’ll be going from now on!

I was able to finally find a phone number for this place and went to check it out. It’s a very basic barber shop, kind of old and dusty. The eyebrow threading was not the best I’ve received(he missed a few hairs, did not trim the brows, and rounded off my natural arch shape) but adequate for the super cheap price of $ 5. If you’re in a hurry and want something quick and dirty, this is the place. I was in and out in 10 mins and only a few bucks lighter. I would definitely go back for in-between clean-ups.

Found this place one day while walking down the street. My eyebrows needed some cleaning up, so I thought I’d try a local establishment rather than a chi-chi brow bar. The owner threaded my brows quickly and efficiently, giving me a great look. The cost? $ 5 Yep, that was it. I tipped him $ 2 because I was embarrassed to give him less. I’ve been back since, and got the same great service. Now I am going to warn you: This is Irving Park, not Lincoln Park. The shop is bare bones and not particularly feminine in its vibe. But if you can overlook these defects, you can save a lot of money by getting your brows done here.

No one threads eyebrows more beautifully and cleanly than Sam. I think this is what it must be to go to barber shops for some. He is always interested in what’s up with you and has wonderful stories and insights to share as he makes you look lovely… or at least hairless.
