I needed to have tears on my sofa cushion fixed, so I called around all of the places I could think of in downtown Chicago for estimates. Everyone I spoke with quoted me an estimate of approx. $ 225. At the suggestion of a friend, I called Martin Rock Interiors and they quote me a MUCH lower price. I was hesitant to accept the fact that they could do do the job and the price they quoted. I decided to give it a go, and after driving a bit out into the ‘burbs, I found the small store. I brought my cushions in, was warmly greeted by the owners, and they told me to come back in a couple of hours. I returned in about 3 hours, and the job was done perfectly. Bracing myself, I asked how much the job cost. They actually came in UNDER their estimate and only charged $ 45 for the entire job. I don’t know much about upholstery or sewing, but the cushions look fantastic and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll be using Martin Rock for all of my upholstery needs in the future (and so should you).
