This Marshall’s doesn’t really have much to write home about. The only departments that are worthy to mention are women’s handbags and cosmetics. Assuming that the-end-of-season sale has concluded in most retailers, so the Spring items have been introduced but hasn’t merchandized in full-bloom. I didn’t see many selections of women’s ready-to-wear, junior clothing, and women’s accessories. Nevertheless, they had an above-average handbag selections on Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, and Steve Madden. I’m a recovered handbag-holic, so I tried my best to refrain from purchasing another handbag. There were many clearance cosmetics, face and body care products. Marshall’s and T.J. Maxx are where I replenish my facial cleansers because they are so much cheaper than buying at a department store, as long as they are not expired by any means. Anyways, this Marshall’s is located as part of the Brickyard shopping plaza. There’s a plenty of parking, or it is accessible by the CTA86(Narragansett) bus. Remember to get off one(1) stop before Fullerton.

I went to this store to return an item that I had purchased less than a month ago and lost my receipt. They were very unproffesional here they refused to exchange my item because it was not on the floor at their location. The item still had the Marshalls sticker and bar code but did not come up in their system when they scanned it. They then opened it and assumed that I owned the item for alot longer than a month. The manager came up and presumed to get in a huddle with two other co-workers and started talking disrepectfully about me and in front of me. I felt very embarrassed and decided to call customer service since they were no help to me. Customer service helped me resolve my problem. I will definitely not return or purchass anything at this location.

It’s ok. I mean a marshalls is a marshalls. This one seems to be a little busier than others, so things are kinda all over the place because I’m sure it’s hard to keep up with all the customer s throwing things around. I have pretty good luck finding things here but you do have to do a bit of digging.

Good selection of shoes and boys clothing. Hit or miss for girls and juniors, but still great finds!

not very clean. employees are not very friendly! go to the one on Harlem ave they have everything clean. The manager on this location seems like she is UPSET all the time she is an older women. I think there are 2 managers but she is horrible the last time i was there she was making fun of one of the customers and she said ” well is Marshalls what do you expect ” WOW well maybe Marshalls is the best store for some people. That is not the way to run a store just imagine if that’s the manager… u can’t expect much from the rest of the staff …

This Marshalls is really hit or miss. Sometimes you may find a gem hidden amongst the rows and rows of crap but nine times out of ten you will leave disappointed. I suggest just stopping by to check out the shoes and purses to see if they have any great designers on discount for the week.

I don’t like to dig, so very rarely if ever do I shop here… but every so often when I have time to kill. I will stroll through the store and once in a while I will find an awesome Henkels knife to add to my collection or some miscellaneous kitchen item that I always wanted to buy. I took my little one the other day because we were waiting for Daddy to finish up at Lowes. I had heard that earthquake tremors had been felt in Chicago. and it was evidenced here. It looked like a cyclone had blown through it. The store was in complete disarray, clothes were off hangers and on the floor, packages were ripped open, accessories, etc were everywhere except for the accessory section. We didn’t see much of anything that we wanted. I know that they often have a decent toy section so we strolled over… yikes! It was hideous, and a mom’s worst nightmare. It was such a mess and totally depressing. Everything looked used, old, torn and were missing pieces. My little one cracked me up with his usual comments. At the top of his lungs he shouted,” What a mess! Are these toys old?” He took my hand and actually led me out! Even their candy section near the checkout lanes did not deter him. he was determined to leave.
