Walked by 2129 W Belmont and this store does not exist. So unless they moved this place is closed. Looks like I’ll have to find somewhere else to get a Father’s day card.

I like this place a lot and things are ALWAYS on sale(thank you cards, etc). The only reason for the 4 stars is that sometimes I go there to pick up a greeting card and they are closed when they’re supposed to be open…

This is a great neighborhood store! I would recommend it to anyone for greeting cards, paper, invitations, gifts, and a very friendly staff.

Cute little shop new to the area but not very original. The selection is limited and dated. Only a few fresh ideas amidst items that we’ve seen for years. Inventory is skimpy if you need to buy more than one or two of something. Several things lacked matching envelopes or coordinating accessories. Brand new store but the fixtures look beat-up and the finishes look shoddy and unfinished. Browsers for custom stationery beware: the staff is downright rude. While I was there, the clerk was nodding«no» and yammering on and on about how the customer’s wishes were not socially correct. The banter made me feel like I was at a dysfunctional red-neck family reunion complete with ethnic slurs, racial jibes and off color remarks. Pre-opening, the signs advertised that they have years and years of experience(at what?); they’re from the area and know the neighborhood. Doubtful. Stop by if you are desperate. If not, keep walking. Paper Boy is several blocks east, has a better selection and the staff is friendlier and far more professional. Not much has changed in the past year.
