I’ve been here twice so far, and it’s the most adorable little neighborhood coffee place. Everyone working here is a sweetheart! I ordered a jasmine green tea and a Belgian waffle this morning and while I ordered it plain(first time trying it) the busboy offered to dress it up for me with banana and whipped cream. Great call! It was delightful! They make juices here too next time I will have to try! I will be happy to always come back :)

This little coffee shop is awesome. They treat their customers so wonderfully and they make every drink with care. Would MUCH rather go here than youknowwhere! You forget how nice good customer service is until you go somewhere like la strada.

Still the best spot in the neighborhood — great for food and smoothies, too, now that I have tried them all since my last review. Just a friendly reminder to support your local businesses.

This is the place to get work done. I can’t overestimate how nice the barista(owner?) is. I’m pretty quite, but don’t always want to work inside my apartment and the atmosphere there is CHILL. La Strada is the place to go. Oh, and good coffee and delectable deli sandwiches are pretty sweet, too!

This review is overdue. I love this place and the guy who owns it is one of the nicest people you will meet. He’s there every day and makes this café so homey and special. The food and coffee are great so it’s really a no brainer.

Love this place! I bring people here for work meetings, escape here to read a good book, and do some quiet computer work here too. The staff is so friendly and care about quality. I also can’t have gluten or dairy and they’re super accommodating. Such a gem!

Drew needed his juice and this place really did the trick! They definitely have juice there. It was only a five minute walk from his apartment. I didn’t want juice. I wanted coffee. When I saw another Unilocaler say they have coffee AND it’s the best in the city, I was pumped, to say the least;) I won’t keep going on but they have juice AND coffee… Drew and I were very happy. We will be returning.

I’ve been to quite a few coffee shops and this one easily ranks among the coolest. A very nice open layout, cool jade plants on the tables, and the best service I’ve ever received at a coffee shop. Seriously, fantastic friendly service. I didn’t exactly know what to get having never been here, and the guy rattled off like five delicious sounding lattes like they were works of art. Which, as much as coffee beverages can be, they are. I enjoyed the best damn Pumpkin Spice Latte I have ever had-Starbucks eat your heart out. I also got some chocolate chip cookies, which were solid. Not life changing, but absolutely nothing wrong with them. I would emphatically recommend this place to anyone seeking a brief respite from the stresses of the world and a boost of glorious caffeine.

La Strada is a gem in Logan Square. My wife and I visit at least once a week and we are always blown away by the top notch customer service from George, the owner, and his employees. George is a genuinely nice person and truly takes an interest in his customers. The coffee is always on point. Have had both the iced and hot coffee and both were excellent. Their food is delicious as well. Fresh bagels slathered in cream cheese and chives, subs for lunch, and excellent pastries. Everything is always delicious. My wife is also a big fan of their fresh juices. Always a great experience.

As part of a goal to check out all the different coffee places in my neighborhood, I stopped by La Strada on a Wednesday morning with my two-month-old and my husband. My cappuccino was delightful and the barista was very friendly and welcoming. This place is very chill without being pretentious. We didn’t eat, but the breakfast and sandwich options looked good. I also appreciated the wide variety of teas available. This is a good neighborhood go to for coffee and tea!

Since I’ve discovered iced coffee, I’m always on the look out for good cup. La Strada surprised me and has my favorite iced coffee in the city — Even over the big Chicago coffee roasters. I like to be able to drink iced coffee and it be delicious without sugar. This is that. Nice chocolate flavor with just a tad but of sweetness. Also, they’re super nice. They want to succeed. Go there! My girlfriend also says the juices are super yummy. She recommends the detox.

Top notch. I’ve managed restaurants all my life so I see things others miss. This place is younger as far as logan square cafés go but has been around long enough to have established a solid routine and identity. I go there for the sandwiches. My wife loves the fresh juices(with ginger added $) and the espresso drinks are excellent. But I go there for the sandwiches. Their choices are simple. Everything is fresh cut to order, including the veggies. It fills me up and can carry me through a 10 hour shift at work without a break.

I stopped by this café on the way home from the 606 trail for a refreshing bev. The staff was super friendly but not over bearing. I couldn’t make up my mind between an iced latte vs. coffee. They told me that the coffee was strong that day and it helped guide my decision. When I left the barista helped me with my stroller. The latte was yum too! Def recommend this place for a meal, snack, juice or coffee to take up to the trail or anytime!

It’s a nice neighborhood spot for a quick breakfast, coffee, or a place to sit for a while. There’s plenty of parking around, it’s easier than going to gaslight in that way. The staff is friendly and helpful. They make their chai themselves using real tea, which is a dealbrraker for me. They have a big tea selection and actually have tea lattes on the menu. They use metropolis coffeeThe baked goods selection was lacking when I went, but maybe it was an off day. It’s a comfortable place to sit with several tables. The music selection is relaxing and the volume is high enough to hear well, but low enough to allow for easy conversation. For such a small place the breadth of the menu is great, with a good coffee and tea menu, baked goods, sammiches, and fresh juices.

I really enjoyed my experience at this Café. I usually get my coffee other places but now that I know this place is here, I would go out of my way. I went in last night right before closing and the owner George was there, probably getting ready to close up. I would have never known because he was so helpful. He made me an awesome Italian sandwich that he took pride in, and was truly excited to get it out to me. He also took some time to let me try their coffee, which was excellent! I didn’t know about all the other things they had on their menu and he was more than happy to explain. After I ate half my sandwich, I had to run because I was getting my haircut next door. I have been getting my haircut next door by Maria, George’s wife for a couple years now. I should have put it together before because they both run their businesses so well. They both are very clean and well organized! I would recommend this place to anyone in the area and it is very nice to get excellent service on top of a great product!

Cozy local café with a friendly staff! Right down the street from Bang Bang Pie shop. For a smaller independently owned café(aka not a chain/franchise), they offer a decent selection of teas, drinks, sandwiches, and fresh juices. I’ve only had their prosciutto sandwiches so far, which I love. Word is their menu may be expanding in the near future! They serve Metropolis coffee. So far I have only had their hazelnut latte, which is pretty smooth and deliciously legit! Plenty of room and outlets to get some work done, as well. You hear of the local neighborhood bar, La Strada will be my local neighborhood café!

Extremely friendly customer service! My fiancé and I stopped in last Saturday after picking up some sweet treats from Katherine Ann Confections and before stopping at Bang Bang for some pie. The café is new, and this was the first time that I noticed it. A big thanks though to my Unilocal friend, Christina S. for posting her pictures though as they(as they always do) motivated to check it out. We arrived maybe 15 minutes after the café opened. The first thing I noticed was the clean and minimal décor. I also enjoyed framed picture on the wall of a burlap coffee sack. The café did get in pretty good light despite it being small. I saw a few tables to sit — no more than 8. However, they have a small sitting area outside that you can take advantage of in nicer weather. A man, presumably the owner, came out and greeted us. I had perused the menus(written in chalk, which always makes me smile for some reason) and ordered a small soy vanilla latte. A 12oz latte will set you back $ 3.70 and it’s an additional $ 0.70 for soy milk. My fiancé ordered a double espresso, which was $ 2.25. They brew Metropolis coffee, which truthfully is only a hit or miss for me. Sometimes I find it to be a wee bit too strong. But, in soy latte form, it was just right and exactly what I needed to perk me up that morning. My fiancé enjoyed his espresso and had complaints. Now, service is really where La Strada shines. The owner made sure to double check what I wanted with regard to the type of milk and syrup(they have sugar free vanilla) option for my beverage. I really appreciated that he took the time to double check so he got my order correct. Also, he made our beverages first before he charged us. That really impressed me for some reason since typically, you pay first. I’m not sure if that’s how they always do it or if he only did that since we were the only ones in the café. Either way, I thought that was pretty cool. He also asked me how my latte was after I’d taken my first sip. I told him it tasted great. My fiancé and I sat outside to finish our drinks before we went into Bang Bang. He was worried that we’d offend Bang Bang if we showed up with coffee from another business. Truthfully, I didn’t care(I just wanted my pie!), but he did have a point. I definitely would come back if I was in the area. The juice drinks looked tasty, and I’d want to give them a try. Oh, they also have some light food items too and of course, pastries(muffins and such). Next time you’re in the area, stop by and check them out! The service and great coffee are sure to win you over.

We happened to be in the neighborhood for La Strada’s soft opening, and it looks like it has a lot of potential. The space itself is adorable. Very cohesive and uncluttered design, comfortable to sit. It’s small but has six or seven tables, IIRC. My husband had an iced coffee, which was stellar. It’s a little on the strong side, which I like(he had to add extra sugar, but it was perfect for me). I had the house iced tea, which is really more lemonade than tea. They had two other iced teas of the day, a mojito green iced tea and another green tea – I don’t like green tea, so I went for the house tea. It was kind of sweet for my tastes. I wish they’d had a basic black iced tea, but what I had was good if you like Arnold Palmers. The guys behind the counter were super-friendly. They also have a really clean restroom. Next time I’m in Chicago, I’ll definitely stop back by!
