KFC

Currently writing this review while waiting for my food while the entire staff, minus one, are in the back playing cards (that’s what the one employee told me). I’ve been waiting almost 10 minutes now. No one else is here. I want my food.
Only an additional star because well it is KFC and no one makes chicken like Sanders.
I’m waiting to press continue in case there’s an alert and they spit in my food for this review. At least they might put down the cards. Fugg it, I’m pressing continue, still no food, yet.

I shouldn’t even waste my time writing a review because every time think of what i was served, i want to puke!
Now i never come to KFC. The last time i ate at a KFC was 5 years ago. This location was on my way home and i was hungry so i decided to stop. Well i also decided to stop because there was nobody in the drive through.
I ordered two legs and a biscuit, LET ME TELL YOU THIS CHICKEN WAS DISGUSTING! I know they fried this chicken, had it sit under the light for 7 years, then i come in and order and they re-​fried it! I took one bite and spat it right back out! It was so greasy, over cooked, over fried, over EVERYTHING. You could tell by just looking at the damn thing that something was wrong with it but i live life on the fast lane and took a big bite out of it! MISTAKE!
The girl on the window was very very nice but she knew what kind of garbage she was serving me and smiled at me! Oh no buddy this location will forever be on my DNE list (do not eat)! No all YUM BRAND RESTAURANTS ARE NOW OFFICIALLY ON MY DNE LIST! I wonder who is running that joint and think its acceptable to serve food like that!

I don’t get why there are so many bad reviews. I’ve gone to eat here near closing time and I’ve never had a problem at this place! Friendly staff, quick service and the food wasn’t cold (as others have stated).
On one occasion, my friend and I came here a couple minutes after they were already starting to close and surprisingly, they still took care of us. There’s a friendly staff member that even gave us free drinks! :D

Every time I’ve ever come in. They always get my orders right. The food is a lot better here than other KFC locations. The employees that work here are always nice. Drive thru is quick and this places location is very convenient. Happy to come here

Worst KFC ever! Not only are the current staff unprofessional as of November 2012 (they swear, are loud, not neat, slack, stand around doing nothing), but the food is always either cold, burned, not prepared. More than once I would walk in around an hour before the time they close and they already are packed up for the night with no food ready. Then they have the nerve to give me an attitude because I’m in there to order food… Really?! More than once have I gotten the wrong order or overcharged. When I go back to tell them I’m missing food they tell me that I’m lying and that I probably took it out of the bag and came back.
This whole staff needs to be under review…

This location always has broken down registers.
It looks dirty.
Service is slow.
The staff seems inadequate and uninterested.

This is ONE of the most HORRIBLE KFC’s I have ever been to and the only reason I walked in here was because I absolutely had to take some medicine and I needed some kind of food in my stomach… otherwise I would have starved to death.
Service is extremely slow and it seems like they can’t handle more than one order at a time. Multi-​task much? Bring a lawn chair because that’s how long you will be in line. They never have anything on the menu and always try to substitute items… mmmmmmm no thanks. Employees are way more interested in socializing with each other than taking care of paying customers.
This KFC is in a good location, but they need a whole new staff overhaul and some better management.

Hai caramba!!! Why oh why did I stop at this KFC. I was warned but did I listen? Regretably nope! Now yours truly isn’t about hating on fine chicken establishments but… damn this place is slooowww!
Let me break it down for you.
Its understaffed! Plain and simple. This explains the slow service, its cleanliness or lack therof. Take a book when you come here because you are going to wait! also some comfy shoes for when you are standing in line forever would be be good. But careful because they might stick to the dirty floor… HA!
Don’t blame the employees they are trying. Maybe the franchise owner is too cheap to staff this chicken joint efficiently!
KFC original is this awesomely tanned mans favorite chain chicken! for that 1 star!
Hipster infestation level: 5… Yes Its Logan square but half of these starving artists/​musicians dont eat meat. Its a good thing cause if they had to be in that line for so long they just might start playing their music and consequently torment everyone inside!

We have given them so many chances, and after a 20 minutes wait in the drive-​thru last night, we are done. My kids love the personal pan pizzas, but they make them «fresh», so you can’t drive thru and get one. Last night we pulled up to the window with 5 cars in front of us, that was our first mistake. Said they would take our order at the window. What? Why not just go inside then. Told them I was going to need a pizza, so I didn’t have to wait again once we got up there. If my 3 year old didn’t have his heart set on a pizza, we would have driven away after 10 minutes and still being 3 cars back.

This is a bad KFC, as far as KFCs go. Yes that’s a thing. Extra star because it’s still KFC and a Snacker is still a dollar.

I have been a food service manager for over five years and in the food industry for over 15 years here in Chicago. KFC is the closest quick serve restaurant to my house. I have been coming here over five years at least once every two weeks. I have had enough and will never return to this location. Here is my list of complaints.
Pizza hut express doesn’t exist. Every time I want a pizza or bread sticks it is a huge inconvenience and will have to wait 25 minutes for them to make it.
Customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I am being a huge inconvenience ordering a single breast meal.
Always out of something, pop, plates, straws, napkins, chicken (no joke). it never ends or surprises me.
Closed by the health department for being so dirty and infested with rodents.
Filthy, absolutely filthy. Everything from the eating areas to the bathrooms are gross. It worries me what I can’t see.
The wait. I have never had to wait so long for something with express in the name. Up to 30 minutes if you have more then two people ahead of you. Service is so slow due to lack of leadership and good management.
Food not being held at safe temperatures. I can’t tell you how many times I get coleslaw that is warm and unsafe to eat.
I could probably keep going on and on but will stop here. This is the first time in my life I have ever complained. I am just that fed up with the KFC in Logan Square and will never return.

Four stars on a fast food star rating system, so maybe a quarter of a star on a real rating system.
This may not be the worst fast food spot in the city, I would save that for the BK in Garfield Park on Chicago, but it cuts pretty close. The service here, though never mean or rude, is just ungodly slow. They are constantly out of things, and the CO2 tanks in their soda dispensers are low fairly frequently.
But, I will still go here because, well, it’s my local KFC, and I suppose it could be worse.

The staff have always been exceptionally friendly, which is a much welcomed rarity especially in a fast food establishment.
Unfortunately, the service is ludicrously slow. The wait times, both in the drive-​thru and at the counter; off-​peak hours as well as lunch and dinner hours are painful.
That said, I have no complaints about the food itself. I know what to expect when I stop into a KFC for dinner and the quality has been as consistent at this location as with most other KFC locations.

Do not go to this location. It is gross. The breadsticks are always (the 3 or 4 times I have tried) hard and old and cold. The counters are gross. Skip it. Go anywhere else for your fast food fix.

Friendliest KFC ever. Everyone who works here went out of their way to greet me with a smile and a «how you doin.» While it may not be much, I applaud any type of effort at service put forth by mega-​chain restaurants. Sadly the food is really awful. I had a crispy chicken sandwich which was about half the size of what I can get at Popeyes for the same price. The potato wedges were OK but nothing warranting a special trip. Sorry Colonel, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

There were not many people inside and only one other person who came in during the 25 minute wait to get a personal pan pizza and breadsticks. Not exactly one to whine, but it is called express and if I’m going to wait that long for food, I might as well sit down somewhere nice.
The food was bad too. Tough to describe the sauce but it was crusty like you’d get if you let out some pizza sauce overnight. It didn’t even appear the cheese was fresh. It felt like a pizza that had sat under the lights all afternoon, despite taking so long to cook. Ate about half before throwing out the rest. The cap wasn’t put on the sauce for the breadsticks and that left sauce everywhere in the bag.
I’m not picky, but this is probably the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had. It wasn’t like they were short staffed either, it seemed like they had 5+ people working in the back. If it was busy I’d understand, but like I said, no one was showing up. Normally enjoy KFC and Pizza Hut but this location looked poorly run.

Worst experience of my life.
After getting my order wrong twice, I had the pleasure of waiting 20 minutes to get my food.
When my food was ready, it had the wrong amount of chicken and was missing my potato wedges, dressing and spork for my side salad.
By far the worse fast food experience I’ve ever been a part of.

I went to this KFC twice in a week, and both times were by far the worst experiences I have ever had at a KFC, and up there with all-​time worst experiences at a fast food restaurant.
They were out of what I wanted both times, or had to wait a very long time.
I really like KFC, so I was disappointed this store was so poorly run. I hope they get their act together.
