Dunkin’ Donuts

Tried this place again — learned my lesson again. Customer service remains sluggish — and that’s once they notice you standing there waiting. Always double check your receipt. And then comes the food — disappointing, to say the least. The medium coffee was tiny, the «hashed browns» were about five small chunks of potato, and the jelly donut was a small crumpled piece of dough with the circumference of a quarter. It was pathetic. When I complained, a guy who seemed to be ownerish stated that was the regular size. When I pushed him on it, he said that it wasn’t his fault — they get their stuff from DD central, they don’t make it on premises (didn’t they used to do that?). And then he said about a year ago DD downsized their offerings, including the size of their donuts. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but they sure didn’t downsize their prices correspondingly. Ridiculous.

Fast service and the owner noticed we had kids in the car and gave them free donuts. Will come again if were in the area.

This dunlin doughnuts sits off the street near the Chase bank. It is busy in the morning but what coffee shop isn’t. The lines may be long but it moves quickly thanks to the people working behind the counter. The doughnuts and coffee always seem fresh which is key when it comes to doughnuts.
