So, first, they lost my two comforters. Now, they did find them pretty promptly(about three hours later, I got the call) so I was going to let it slide. Well I just opened up my $ 400 down comforter and there are more stains on it now then before!!! I am furious. I do not recommend this place. I am so disappointed. It cost $ 40 to clean and now I have to do it again. Never. Going. Back.

DON’T go here with items you care about. I’m not picky about cleaners, but this place ruined a $ 100 dress I brought there and didn’t apologize, offer to pay for it, or even give me the $ 8 cleaning fee back. They told me I just didn’t remember that the brand new dress I wore once before bringing to them was actually a wrinkled, uneven, stretched, wavy fabric… instead of the flowy AND flat beautiful dress it was when I brought it in. Cannot stand getting screwed, unless you can, I’d stay away. Oh yeah, and the reviewer below me reminded me, it smells like a donkey’s ass.

Soooo friendly… reasonable pricing and hours, payment required in advance(which I don’t mind)

The ONLY reason I wanted to give this place 4 instead of 5 stars is because it smells(trifling, I know). BUT… whatever the stink is never gets into your clothes! And I don’t have to be in there for longer than 5 mins. Hubby and I have taken cleaning to many other places in the city and suburbs alike. None to date have been able to beat the quality and pricing of this friendly-neighborhood dry cleaner… not the nice, expensive place on Damen… not the nice and expensive place in Elmhurst… This is the place for us. Did I mention convenient(to us)? It’s a total mom-and-pop shop(literally) and they are both SO nice… right down to ‘dad’ carrying the metric ton of shirts to the car while ‘mom’ coos with the baby inside(«I wish I had a grandchild…»). Did I mention quality? They actually got a seriously large schmootz of wax out of one of my fave. wool sweaters(no extra charge) and stitched up a torn sleeve of another sweater without my askin them to(no exra charge… I didn’t notice ’til I got home).
