Superwash Coin Laundry

Give it 5 star because this place is alsome it haves a playland for the kids and also a food mart n EVERYONE is also nice

I’ve been coming to this laundry mat for 10 years but today 5÷25÷2015 was different. One of the the employees there was very rude because she kept rushing me and my family to do our laundry and to also use the driers. I personally like to separate my clothes before putting it in the driers and she kept telling me to hurry up and get done. That others wanted to use it when the faculty wasn’t even full of people. A individual there washing as well asked if I was going to use one of the dryer when I was already going to empty it cause it had stopped and the employe told him that no one needed to ask me that he could have taken it.
They need better customer service who aren’t rude she was even upset cause we supposedly were using all of the driers. We weren’t we only used as many as we needed for our clothes.

This was the laundromat my parents always came to when we lived in the neighborhood 10 years ago… I always hated going to the laundry but now is time for me to do my own laundry and here I am rating the laundry…
I came here on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy at all which is excatly what I wanted!
small washers are 2.25 they do the job super fast or maybe its just me it doesn’t show the time of the washers just shows on what section its on so far.
dryers are .25 per 8 min which is not too good since there is another laundry i went to that was .25 per 10min but the good thing is superwash dryers are huge!!!
so my three loads of laundry all went into one washer ;) saves me money and nothing wrong with combining the clothes in the dryer right?
oooooo and another great thing FREE WIFI gave me the chance to do homework!
There is also a dunkin donuts connected to it and a quick food store on the other side.
only con… no plug ins close to charge my laptop…

Well, I live about equal distance between this place and the laundry place at Fullerton and Kimball, and I like this one a lot better.
1. It’s much cleaner than the other place. There is always someone in there cleaning the floors and more importantly the machines.
2. It’s cheaper than the other place. The small washers are 2.00 here and 2.70 over there, plus you have to purchase a card at the other place, whereas Superwash just takes quarters.
3. Free wifi.
4. Connected to a convenience store and a Dunkin Donuts. While my clothes are in the washer, I often sit in there with my laptop.
5. Gumball machines. Hey, what can I say, doing laundry kinda sucks, especially walking the 4.5 blocks in the snow pushing my cart to get there, so I deserve a little childhood treat.
6. 24 hours. I keep odd hours so I appreciate that and it reminds me of NYC.
What I don’t like about it
1. It’s often crowded and loud, complete with little kids running around and multiple tvs on multiple stations.
2. They could use a little more seating, though I don’t know where they’d put it.

I’m gonna give this laundromat 3 stars only because it within walking distance from where i currently live and its open 24 hours/​365 days a year. NO JOKE. they might not have the greatest equipment, but they do not argue with u if the machine ate ur quarter, the ppl that manage it tend to even throw in an extra quarter in case. And the dryers do dry evenly, I wash clothes there for my 3 person family, and I wear a lot of clothes. My 2 year old goes through clothes like no other, so we are always coming in with loads over 20 lbs. Are clothes always come out clean and dry. They are attached to the Dunkin Donuts/​Baskin Robbins, which I find very convenient especially late at night. You don’t have to go outside late at night to enter the other stores, they are all connected. So i don’t think a totally negative review is necessary. The next closest 24 – 7 place is on elston and kimball. So if u have a problem with washing ur clothes at Superwash at 2am, go ahead and hop on the bus, but I doubt u will, so suck it up and stop complaining.

I hate this laundry mat. Despite what the dile says about washing in hot water, the places has NO hot water. I think its barely warm. It costs 3.75 for a big load and about 2.75 for a smaller load. The dyers take about 30 minutes or 3 quaters (if you seperate your load into 2, or 3 dyers thats up to 9 quaters.) and for industrial dyers that is just not good enough. I’ve had problems with the machine taking my money and it took the attendant like an hour to believe and then another 30 minutes for her to give me my money back. I hate doing my laundry here… but yet, i still come here– It is totally attached to a liquor/​convient store AND Baskin Robbins. This is purely a case of location and not service.
