The first time I bought from K Amato was in 2009, and I shop this website about once or twice a year since then. The jewelry designs are fun and classic & I always enjoy seeing what’s new on the website. I’ve never had a problem with quality or customer service, as other reviewers mention. I don’t think the jewelry looks cheap or generic — on the contrary, people always compliment the jewelry I have from this store. My only request is for a sale section.

This is my first time ever writing a negative review on Unilocal.I usually only review things when I have had a positive experience. I enjoy giving small businesses good reviews when I feel that they have earned it, hopefully helping them attract more customers and grow. That being said, I really felt that this situation warranted a review… I bought a few items from this company back in October. It only took about 3 weeks and the necklace broke(appeared to be poorly made). However, I thought the company would stand behind their product and try to rectify the situation. This was not the case. I felt the«customer service» was more like accusations and harassment. Now I am out a necklace and the clearly overpriced(for the quality) amount of money I spent on the necklace. Please save yourself a headache and chance to be belittled. Do not buy from this company!

Incredibly disappointed with the actual quality of merchandise when I received my online order. Think claire’s! The gold chain was a different shade of gold from the charm and both pieces I purchased discolored quickly. Definitely not up to standard for the prices charged.

I was introduced to K Amato Designs a couple years ago by a good friend of mine and I instantly fell in love with the jewelry! K Amato has gorgeous, unique, high-quality pieces. Her jewelry completes any outfit and makes fantastic gifts for friends… and myself. I recently ran into a small technical issue when trying to place an order on the website and immediately received an email from Kristen Amato. She quickly resolved the issue and processed my order. K Amato is all-around fantastic. Excellent jewelry. Excellent customer service. Can’t get enough!

I received an email about K. Amato having an annual sale(«Pieces Marked Down to $ 5, $ 10& $ 15») this past Wednesday(4⁄2) and had passed the store a couple times and admired some of their pieces, so I thought I’d stop in after work. The first thing that threw me for a loop was the quality of the«$ 5, $ 10& $ 15» sale items. They bore little to no resemblance to their full priced jewelry(or high-priced sale items) and looked like something you would find at Forever 21, H&M, etc.(ie jewelry that would be $ 5, $ 10& $ 15 at full price). What really got me though? The nicer sale items were on a table with a sign«30% off price as marked.» Ok – so I look at the tags on a couple necklaces I liked, and the price is hand-written, with another price sloppily scratched out. The rub? The price scratched out was about 50% of the current written price! I’ve included a picture – the current price is marked as $ 74, but crossed out price of $ 40 is clearly visible! Even with the 30% off that would make the price $ 52 – a 30% markUP from the $ 40 price! I don’t know if they had previously had a bigger sale or why this was the case, but if you’re going to try to pull the wool over your customers’ eyes, at least have the respect/sense to put on a new price tag. I was very disappointed because I saw a couple necklaces, both on sale and full price, that I was interested in – I thought about it for a minute, but I just didn’t feel right when by all appearances they had lured me(and a few other shoppers) into the store under the premise of a «sale» that appeared by all accounts to be phony. A store that can’t respect a customer’s time or intelligence doesn’t deserve their business.

I was getting dressed for work this morning and couldn’t help but feel like my outfit was incomplete. I reached into my giant stash of jewelry and there, be still my Unilocaly heart, were a trio of gold bracelets designed by K. Amato. They even still had the tag attached. I got them for Christmas this past December from my aunt(think totally hip, hot, cool aunt; THANKSMEL). Yay! I hate bracelets that look and feel cheap and just of cheap quality(think Claire’s) that either break or change color on you. A woman has a lot of things to worry about, we don’t need to worry about bangles a’snappin in the middle of our work day. I popped them on and love them, they feel not-cheap and look sophisticated yet I know I can wear them in a non-office function too! Truth be told, I haven’t been in the store but I pass it on my way to Sine Qua Non, and hey consider it bookmarked. Love love these bangles.
